and the state.
Come and explore Ward Churchill's and Peter Gelderloos' arguments that
nonviolence protects the state and offer your thoughts on the long going debate
between "violence" vs. "nonviolence". We are also reading the zine, Neither Their
War Nor Their Peace.

Who I'd like to meet: Other anti-authoritarians, anarchists of any flag, and community activists interested in participating with the Syracuse Solidarity Network. We are NOT an exclusive group. Instead, we base our affinity with one another around "Points of Unity".
SSN is participant in the North East Anarchist Network.
The Northeast Anarchist Network (NEAN) is a recently formed network of anarchists and anti-authoritarian organizations and individuals that has been meeting and collaborating since February of 2007. Comprising groups and individuals from 7 sub-regions in the northeast our aim is to create a regional, horizontal organizing network in the Northeast, linking those committed to struggles anti-authoritarian, anti-capitalist and anti-oppressive.
The Alchemical Nursery will be hosting the 2010 Upstate NY Permaculture Consulta regional networking and skill share event on Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 10am - 5pm. This event, which was inaugurally held in Ithaca during February 2009, is coming to Syracuse for 2010, and you are invited to participate.
In preparation, You are also invited to a PERMACULTURE POTLUCK & PLANNING MEETING on Saturday November 14, 7:00 pm at the Gear Factory (200 South Geddes St, Syracuse, NY) to start the process of pulling together the program, resources, and action steps to make for a successful Consulta event.
