About T30 Control

Can it really be as far back as the late 7ts that the idea of T30 Control was first conceived? Indeed it was so. With the intention of stealing the cosmic overtones of a certain Mr Schultze, the manic despair of Calvert era Hawkwind, the downright mystery of King Tubby ( and a sprinkling of ATV thrown in for good measure ) 1976 marks the birth of one of the most original exper-mental electronic trios ever to be banned from every venue in Crawley. Even more amazing is the fact that 30 years later the group are still alive and recording. Things took a turn for the better in 1999 when the group were rescued from certain obscurity by the wonderful Path Of Action label. Since this time there has been a slow but steady attempt by POA to bring the groups vast backcatalogue of work to a wider audience. Fast forward to 2007 and we find the group with around 65 releases to their name, this excludes solo works and mixed media projects involving their fascination with the cult writer Walter Muritiz. Just one question remains. Why did it take you so long to catch up with them?
