After a long stretch of acoustic shows in support of the TAFKAVince & Lauren release “Another Space In Time” it was time to rock. TAFKAVince summoned band members and close friends from far and wide. Calls were made, telegrams and smoke signals were sent. Schedules were coordinated and songs and bottles passed around. Time was booked at producer Tony SanFilippo’s Oxide Lounge Recordings and songs were slammed to tape. The sessions were fast and furious and so is the end result, “Welcome To The Show”. Short and sweet like a vaudeville act or Alan Freed rock n roll revue, with an added layer of glitter and CBGB’s grime. Ready for the airwaves and public consumption.
TAFKAVince and band will be branching out from their home base in Chicago to make new friends around the Midwest. Plans are in the works for a summer trek to the east coast and rumors of overseas performances keep floating about. Revival tents and V.F.W. halls await your presence.
