Hey everyone,
Thanks for stopping by myspace! I had a great time making my new CD down in Nashville. I met alot of wonderful people down there! What incredible musicians.
My love of singing and of country music showed through at a very early age. I began to perform with my fathers country band at the age of seven. I have never had any formal musical or vocal training but I learned by singing along with the women who influenced me. Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Reba McEntire, Patsy Montana are just a few legends who I sang along with and helped me develop my style. But we cannot forget the gentlemen who also helped me along the way. Johnny Cash, Ernest Tubb, George Straight, Waylon Jennings to name a few. But being a child of the 80's, a little bit of rock n roll managed to sneak through. Pat Benetar and John Cougar Mellencamp are a couple of my favorites from the 80.
The rush of adrenaline upon taking the stage is what I really love. Hearing
the cheers of approval, people dancing and singing along to my performances is what really inspires my show. I put my heart and soul into every lyric and move I do on stage. That is also when the cheerleader in me comes out. Making sure that those five fellas around me are as revved up as I am. The interaction with my band, The Regulators, is pure energy. Feeding off each other musically, visually and personally we make sure the crowd leaves the venue with a total satisfaction.
In my career I have been blessed in sharing the stage with the some of the best of country music. I have had the privilege of singing with the legendary Patsy Montana (the original "Cowboys Sweetheart"). Sharing the stage with greats like John Conlee, SHeDAISY, Joe Nichols, Tommy Cash, The Oak Ridge Boys, Hot Apple Pie, and the ever cute and personable Jason Aldean. I look forward to that list growing as as my career grows.
If you happen to make it to one of my shows please stop by and say hello. I love to take the time to meet as many people as I can, to sign an autograph, or just visit for a minute.

Tami - that's horrible! I have a funny story about a salon mishap. My friend's daughter accidentally knocked the fire extinguisher, spewing that gunk all over the studio. They paid for the clean-up, but it was horribly expensive. Fires are nasty - I'm actually rather terrified of them. Bill and I will be heading to Omaha possibly around Thanksgiving - his mother's getting married (for the 3rd time!). I'll let you know if it gets definite (they're still messing around with the date).
Aunt Tami, Sorry I couldn't make it to the fundraiser. I went to Atkinson, NE for the weekend (ben's parents). I hope you had fun and I will try and make the next one! Luv ya
