MySpace a place for friends

In the words of John Lennon, “We get by with a little help from our friends.” The Alumni Clubs unmistakable hard work has landed them some friends in very high places. It’s obvious that Greg, Jamison, Brad, Michael, Alex and Sean are ready for Chicago’s top 40 by delivering an edgy Pop/Rock sound, world wide fan base, and spectacular live show. Qualities like these have their advantages, especially when releasing an EP. Since re-grouping this February The Alumni Club has been busy writing and recording the very anticipated EP entitled “Up Early & Out Late” at Valencia Studios with Paul Leavitt (Senses Fail, Circa Survive, All Time Low) which released this Spring. The Alumni Club will be on tour all year with bands like Lights Out, The Promise Hero and Barely Blind.

The Alumni Club has found themselves on the Myspace Top10 Unsigned Pop bands, is featured in Crescendo Magazine's one-year anniversary issue and has had the privilege of sharing the stage with Boys Like Girls, Every Avenue and Taking Back Sunday.

“It’s only a matter of time, but no clock will ever stop them. What can I say, they’re up early and out late, doing whatever it takes!” Says Josh Weidling, www.forthesound.com. Martin Johnson of Boys Like Girls also said, “The Alumni Club is the next band to takeover Chicago. Check them out!” during an All-State Arena show this past Winter.
