_The Officers’ debut show took place in London at Alan McGee’s Death Disco, who requested that the band played the club, after discovering their boisterously destructive home demos posted online. Assignations at Being Boiled and the Camden Barfly swiftly followed, which led to them being invited to play the monster indie-dance club night Insomniacs’ Ball.//_

//It hasn't taken long to attract the eyes, ears and support of such artists as Jagz Kooner, NiN's Atticus Ross, The Music, The Happy Mondays and legendary mash up bootlegger Freelance Hellraiser. Eddy Temple Morris @ Xfm, choosing his tip for the future, says://

Jagz Kooner (Primal Scream/Radio 4/Oasis) recorded their first tracks, resulting in them being used by All Saints clothing._

The Officers have just released their first single 'Red Chapter' through Propaganda/PIAS records, which was recorded with longtime Radiohead producer and engineer Graeme Stewart, and have recently started work on their debut album planned for general release in late autumn 2009.//
