The Prestige is a pop/soul 4 piece from Lincoln, CA. Forming in 2007, they have since progressed as a group through many styles, taking pieces of each, and ending up with who they are today. A smooth blend of jazz, funk, and soul with a pinch of blues delivered with the punch of a modern pop outfit makes for music you just can't help but to dance to. Drawing from influences such as John Mayer and Maroon 5, this band is able to create a sound entirely their own, that can cater to both a young and old audience. Their energy and ability to "jam" creates for an exciting and unique live show each and every time. With an EP just around the corner and bigger and better shows in their sights, The Prestige will be a major player in the Sacramento area for 2009.

Fun fact about the tambourine drop in Unkillable Josef: if you ever get a chance to listen to the song with headphones or two well-defined speakers, you'll notice that we panned the drop. As the tambourine falls, the sound jumps to the other speaker.
