THREAT LEVEL, and everything that we like in metal music.
THREAT LEVEL, formed in 2004, is a 4 piece, un-signed, self-funded heavy metal band out of Indianapolis, IN, and are determined to build this band upon a national status. They know what it takes and will do what it takes to achieve this goal. They are a "DIRTBAG CLOTHES/MUSIC" band and have recently signed with DBM (DIRTBAG MUSIC) RECORDS as a "developmental artist". DBM RECORDS offers great services like distribution by all means and media through any and all Internet Consumer Stores (e.g. ITunes, Dirtbag Music, Amazon, Rhapsody ). DBM RECORDS main goal is to get bands on a major label, so artist's can cancel their contract at any moment. THREAT LEVEL is also booking strongly, 6-10 shows a month, to become a JAGERBAND. In 2006 they were the only non "Lone Star State" band to perform at DIMEFEST in memory of Dimebag Darrell @ the Ridglea Theater in DWF, TX. In 2007 they released their rull length CD "A WORLD BEYOND DEVASTATION" and also opened up for HELLYEAH, OTEP and BLOODSIMPLE at the Murat Egyption Room in Indianapolis on Halloween night. In 2008 they played the Indianapolis Metal Fest 2 in support of DIVINE HERESY, KITTIE, EKOTREN, MUSTACHE and WOE OF TYRANTS. Then closing the year with the rock band JACKYL at a maximum capacity crowd of 1,500 people at the 8 Second Saloon in Indianapolis. It's 2009, and THREAT LEVEL has played with DEVILDRIVER and MOBILE DEATHCAMP, and are scheduled to play with GREEN JELLY in July. THREAT LEVEL are currently working on, and writing songs for their yet to be titled 2nd CD release. The band's musicians, Frank Rapacki - Vocals, Troy Welch - Guitar, Chad Smith - Drums, and Jason Weaver - Bass, are dedicated to their craft and put on a great show. Their music is full of fast tempos, plenty of thump, dangerous break downs, catchy rhythms, raging vocals, killer solos and "maximum chunk" high gain guitar. The honesty in their music is as loud and in your face as their bone-crunching riffs and scorching vocal delivery. They are fiercely independant, self reliant and down to earth, devoting every ounce of energy to their art and their fans. THREAT LEVEL is out there making you headbangers proud with song favorites "Stand Your Ground", "Hell To Pay", "The Fire Within", and "Jawbreaker". The songs they have ready for their 2nd release are geared to get you pumped, mosh-ready, and headbanging crazy....WELCOME TO THE MASSACRE!
