He grew up in a pre dominant Christian home. His parents Cesar and Petra Holder were Christian Ministers. Petra ( Chris's mom played the organ and always dreamed that one of her sons would also play an instrument like her) Christopher's passion for the piano began at the age of 8 years old,when he saw his mother sit at the organ playing at church Hymns she called him over and started teaching him and at first he thought it was a game but soon he realized it was something he was destined to do for the rest of his life. Christopher started playing at his local church at the age of 12, later on in his lifetime he received a second place award at the Harbor Conservatory of the performing Arts to study Latin Music. Chris's musical growth began to show rapidly.He currently has worked and shared the stage with musicians and arrangers such as: Ray Colon, Papo Pepin, Marc Quiñones, Charlie Garcia, Harry Adorno, Carlos Henriquez, Raul Agraz, Domingo Paliuca, Chu Quintero, Hector Casanova, Ismael Miranda,Luisito Carrion,Maelo Ruiz,Willi Gonzales,Paquito Guzman, Obie Bermudez,Angel Fernandez, David Piro Rodriguez, Richie Flores,Dave Valentin, John Benitez, Ina Kaina, Humberto Medina, Cafe con pan,and many more musicians in the New York circuit and Venezuelan circuit.Christopher has recorded for artists such as Obie Bermudez and Roselyn Sanchez and currrently has produced various albums under OUTPOUR MUSIC PRODUCTION a latingospel label.
