TOMS was founded in 2006 when an American traveler, Blake Mycoskie, befriended children in Argentina and found they had no shoes to protect their feet. Wanting to help, he created a company that would match every pair of shoes sold with a pair given to a child in need. One for One. With a group of family, friends, and staff, Blake returned to the same area later that year with 10,000 pairs of shoes made possible by caring TOMS customers. Since that first Shoe Drop, TOMS has given over 140,000 pairs of shoes to children in need around the world.

No prob, my brother in-law has been trying to talk my wife and i into gettin a pair since '07.. we just got our first ones and i'm so bummed that i waited so long to get a pair, ya'll are doing a good thing and this is our first but not last pairs... keep up the good work
