This story begins at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis where a young woman barely in her teens, not even a graduate of high school yet, gave birth to a medium toned curly haired baby boy named Darius Burton in the late 80’s. His mother joined the military soon after graduation, and though his uncle and his comrades had a hand is raising him, he spent most of his childhood being raised by his grandmother. After so many years of staying in the house in which he was raised on Greer Ave., around the age of 8, his grandmother and he moved just down the street to an apartment building on Kingshighway & Labadie. Only settling there for almost a handful of years, he spent the remainder of his childhood relocating from home to home when his mother returned from service being forced to establish a relationship. So all the while, throughout the schooling process and all of the transfers, he became rebellious. And that meant his indulgence of a few areas of trouble but mainly fighting. Knowing his potential because of constant reminders of his promise, he took life to another level. Waving goodbye to the conservative life, and embracing the open arms of the streets, which to him meant more respect, more women, more freedom, and never being dependant on a weekly allowance again.

So not bad... not bad at all :-)! You have somethign for everyone , nice variety and range. You seem to speak from your true self when you flo.. and thats what makes good music!
Fasho. Yes, I browsed through some of your tracks..def. like your theme n' variation, the way you flow is nice...the lyrics though are def not my thang. I used to rhyme tha same way...speaking death words and cursed words over myself...because the reality is, you will have what you say. I've found that through Jesus Christ I can live a life of higher quality, peace, love, joy and freedom. I understand growin up in a broken home, feeling abandoned, emotionally abused and physically...perhaps one day when you have time you should read my testimony on my music page. I choose to speak life in all situations cuz the reality is there is power in what you say...Proverbs 18:21 "The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit." You def. have a gift, God has def. given you a voice...but you have a choice on who you use it to glorify. God will never violate your free will. But He does love YOU....and I mean that. The Creator of this universe spent years perfecting who you are before you were even born...He knows every hair on your head..and trust this-all that crap that happened to you growing up He did not cause, He didn't do it, but you are wanted...there was a purpose to why you were born...a very divine purpose...but you have the choice on whether or not to walk in your divine purpose...You were wanted..that's all I have to say...if not by anyone else but by God, that's why you are still breathing John 15:16 "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name." ...and God has me taking the time right now to type this to you. I don't know...do whatever you want with this message...but I'm a real chic, and if you know the game real recognizes real..so I hope you recognize this for what it is my brotha. Much love to you. It is all in love. :)
