Twisted and Used was formed in February, 2006. The band started this project realizing that this was not going to be your ordinary metal band. Each of the six band members has different tastes in music that gives Twisted and Used a distinct sound. With over two years of experience and original music under their belt, T.A.U.'s malicious music has been played from New York to Florida. Twisted and Used also can be heard on several internet radio stations. So you will never know when you might hear the adrenaline pumping music of Twisted and Used!

Cambria County's TWISTED & USED launched the evening with a set of original hardcore-flavored metal. They offered a unique slant with the co-ed lead vocalist duo of Drew Baney and Mandy Mesaros. Eric Smay plays bass, Casey Surap (since then has been changed) and Mike McDannell (also changed since then) play guitars, and Bret Berkhimer plays drums. TWISTED & USED displayed all-out ferocity and force with dense rhythms, roaring guitars and the tortured vocal howls of Drew and Mandy.
