TAKE ME AMERICA – The Musical

"IT'S NOT A STORY, IT'S MY LIFE!"
Double Play Connections, LLC and Wild Bird Productions present Take Me America by Bill Nabel & Bob Christianson, a new musical about asylum in America.

Follow nine refugees in their quest for asylum in the US and the three INS agents who decide their fate. Do they stay or do they go? How would you decide? Get it wrong and you might as well sentence them to death...or worse. Inspired by true stories from the asylum process; stories of life and death. They are real, sometimes humorous, but always compelling. Turkish Delight The Opera

Jul 5 2007 7:24 PM

To celebrate having you on our friends list and also to celebrate the up coming showcase of Turkish Delight as part of the gay pride festivities in Stockholm, I am sending you the entire 2CD album of Turkish Delight the Opera by myself, Giles Howe, and the beautiful Katy Lipson,. This recrding was made live at the Black cap, Camden, London in August of last year. The show starred Natasha Day, Sophie Juge, Gareth Bretherton, and Daniel Lawrence.

You can download it from our myspace page at www.myspace.com/turkishdelighttheopera or directly from http://www.jamendo.com/en/artist/turkish.delight.the.opera/ where it is split into two cds, act one and act two. you can even review us there and give us a five star rating if you so desire! (yes, it's totally free to download and there is no catch!)

It is totally free for you to download, but I would really appreciate if you could leave us some comments to let us know what you think, and maybe even tell your frineds about it? Possibly even by a myspace bulletin?? :)

The album will only be avaiable for free for a short period of time, so I reccommend you make the most of this unparralleled generosity before I turn back into a horrid and spiteful old man and continue throwing stones at small children.

This recording took a huge ammount of effort on behalf of all the people involved, I am delighted to be able to finally present to you the sum of two years worth of work. This recording is roughly an hour and a half long, and the showcase in Stockholm this summer will be 30 minutes long and will also include some new pieces that Katy and I have been working on seperateley, some of which will have never been heard before! It would be great if you could come along, and if you can't, then I will try to upload some sound files for you after the event.

Thankyou for taking the time to read this message and for listening to the album, I really hope you enjoy it.

Regards,

Giles Howe

ps - Thankyou to Tye of
Erin
