People only take advantage of you because of their own insecurites. People with big hearts who are confident in themselves find that people take advantage of them. Only surround yourself with people that care about you, and aren't there to use you!! Best lesson in life!
I am an independent lady with an appreciation for the better people in life. (the ones with morals) I enjoy music, movies, sports and simple things. I am not very complex, rather a very open book. I prefer being alone than being alone with someone around me. I don't get into liars,plastic people, or the ones who just find it fun to collect people in their life just to try and break them down to make themselves feel better.
I try and surround myself with positive and fun people who have good attitudes. I am a very non-materialistic person, (what I have and what I get ...I work for), I believe in nothing else. I expect noone to take care of me in a financial sense. I only look for people to share laughs with or just in general acting goofy. I can be found up dancing to rap music in the middle of a day or singing way off key while cooking, and I won't care what anyone thinks about it. :P if ya don't like my singing cover your ears, and if ya don't like my dancing get up and dance with me. This weekend is over and, while I hope it was a good one for you, when it's over it doesn't really matter. The week however is here and with it the potential of many wondrous things. Certainly I wish you all of the mundane (and more tangible) things; beautiful music, puppy kisses and an abundance of chocolate - but more than that! In light of events this week (and many conversations with friends who are struggling - REALLY struggling) I wish you the more intangible, hard to have and maintain and ABSLUTELY CRITICAL things. I wish you someone who loves you not only for who you are but in spite of who you are. I wish you freedom in your lives - not the freedom to have a pizza if you choose or even to talk shit at the pub but real William Wallace type "Saoirse"! Finally, I wish you a life that allows you to not only pursue your dreams but to fulfil them. May this week be the beginning of a wondrous road full of many enchantments, beautiful sunsets and moments of sheer ecstasy.
