To me loneliness is more like a thing that you can see and feel.
It's just my interpretation of the ugliness that you can sometimes feel when looking at something or someone that has that empty sort of feeling.
Sweet deal. I babysat all day for people that do not pay me near enough money. However, I like to keep my bitching to a minimum. I assume you will be coming back to Tifton soon?
