   The Adrian Exley Foundation's Blurbs
About me:
Making S&m play safer through awareness, education and open discussion.

Created in memory of Adrian Alun Dennis Exley, this community is the first seed of an idea sown by Adrians family and His slavebrother fang in early 2007, to educate those interested in S&m, bondage and all of its many different permutations who may not have access to such information within their local communities: particularly youngsters who would not otherwise have a platform to ask questions, educate themselves and make themselves heard.

In the blog (see below) you will also find all the latest news with regards the court case and other seperate legal developments that may affect the leather community which we think may be of interest. Feel free to comment and debate, but please keep it civil.

This page is maintained on a daily basis by Adrian's little brother, fang.
Who I'd like to meet:

Please feel free to utilise the comments section of this page as a way to pass on your thoughts and messages of encouragement to Adrian's family, as well as a public Book of Condolence. They do read everything and appreciate your support more than you could ever know.

Please note all posts are moderated, pending approval, and only appropriate posts will be approved. Hate speech of any kind will not be tolerated.

Finally, although all add requests are welcome, we will not be able to honour any requests from private or hidden profiles, thankyou.

Hi, I was one of Adrian's childhood friends whilst he was at Priory school,we went on holiday to Ibiza in our teens..I was completely gutted to find out about his death and only found out via the web.
Such a great guy with a brilliant sense of humour.
Even though he moved away he always came to say hi whenever he was in Barnsley.
I still think of him and miss him to this day.

Just Visited Adrian's last resting place and the roses are in full bloom around the granite Celtic cross overlooking the common. It is very peaceful there on a summers day like today. Had a good cry and spoke for hours. His little Dog Saffie misses him like mad and still pricks up her ears when you mention her DADDY CHIP. Two years down the line and it still frightens me how many tears are still inside me for my little man. I miss him like mad and I'm finding life very hard with out him. The tune 'VIDE COR MEUM' we played for Adrian at the the church the day of his funeral can bring back floods of emotions. I am more able to talk about things now. Thats why I'm entering into the blog. Thanks to every one for your kind comments and support for my Adrian my and for myself.

I still can't believe this happened! I always chatted to 'chip' when I saw him in the chat room etc. Even drove him back to London after he did a show in Bristol. He said he was going to America but can't believe that was his final trip. It makes me so angry when you get people who are top/dom/masters who don't follow basic rules! They are playing with peoples lives. He knew Adrian wasn't coping that great earlier in the scene so should have taken the correct precautions!

I hope that loads of people find this site and that it will enforce the safety aspect of BDSM so many many more people can enjoy it!

Hope your resting peacefully Adrian, still and always miss you! x

Thanks for the invite .....

Thanks for alerting me to Adrian's life.

Sad that some people forget it is all about fun and respect ... that respect includes care, compassion and responsibility.

I have chatted online with heaps of young guys and answer their questions and always alert them to ideas of how to try and spot an unsafe or crazy top that will not help them have a good experience. Although I play with guys usually 30+... younger guys need to learn how to have fun, get their kicks, push their own limits ... but always safely.

It is a dam shame and tragedy that a shining light has been extinguished by someone's total lack of judgment and disregard.

But then again ... it seems Adrian's light is still shining .... thanks to you!

Excellent work :)

As Education Chair of the National Leather Association International, I feel very strongly that people who are new to the SM scene need as much information as possible. Thank you for starting and maintaining this project.

I heard about this when it first happened and now that it's back in the news it breaks my heart all over again. Thank you for starting this foundation. I helped start the LA boys of Leather to promote safety in bdsm play, especially among the newer generation of subs/boys/slaves/pups who may not have the experience to know what is safe and what is not. Even experienced players make mistakes, we all have. At least now this terrible tragedy can make people aware of what can happen. Thank you.

This 1's for you Adrian

As we walk through life we share the road with many people. Some smile as they pass, and are gone. Some touch our hands, and walk with us for a time, And, according to the degree of involvement, so our lives are influenced by each and evert contact. Sometimes just a brief encounter-or an interlude soon forgotten. Sometimes an impact, so profound, our lives are never quite the same again.

This has moved me more than anything for a long time. I can only imagine the panic that he must have gone through, it's absolutely horrific. My thoughts are with his friend and family while this case continues.

Such a beautiful man and such a tragic loss.

If there's anything I can do to help let me know.

This is a tragic story. My heart goes out to his family and friends during this tough time.

Its always a tough call to where to draw the line.

Well as hard as it may be at least Adrian died doing something he enjoyed.
