I hope you don't mind, I'm spreading this word: Three years ago, I had the blessing of meeting a young man, Ted Littlefoot. I prayed and danced and watched as him and about 50 others sacrifice their body mind and spirit for four days three nights, no food no water, around the tree of life at the sacred Sundance ceremony just outside of Ashland Oregon.
That was, I believe was his second year of commitment, returning for his third and final fourth the following summers.
We exchanged addresses, and since he has sent dozens of 'spirit poems' I didn't hear from him for nearly a year, then I receive this,
Somewhere i can do anything Right in line with what the blessings bring Somewhere you were in my Dream Somewhere before..... i heard you sing Who really knows all that's been said Do you take responsibility for what's in your head Thoughts that cant be written Cant be said i have been searching to find the words i have been taught by the trees and the birds i have been blessed with twists and turns i know that deep inside us The same strong thirst burns This is a sight this is a lesson This is no time to be restin We must use what time is left To honor every precious blessing Everything has a place to land When falling from the sky This sacred Earth and proving grounds Do we want this hope to Die? Heya!! yeah, 7 weeks in canada - heck yes!!! im ridiculously excited hahaha i can't believe that its actually going to happen!! im coming with a couple of friends, so that should be awesome too!! We will be arriving in vancouver november 27, and be there for a few days, but we should arrive in calgary on about the 3rd december - just in time for my birthday lol so, definately count me in for snowboarding!! i cannot wait to see all this snow, its gonna be such an experience!! where abouts are you based these days?? we haven't spoken in such a long time, i have no idea what you are up to!! fill me in!! can't wait to see you again :O) xo
