FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How can I help promote you guys?
One of my favorite questions. Right off the bat, please change your myspace name to include [IAmTheHint] or [IATH] or "XXX is The Hint". XXX = Your name, of course. Post a banner on your profile. Add a song by clicking the little "ADD" button next to your favorite one in the music player. We have a street team page and a bunch of amazing ppl in different states that have made pages for us. Join up with one, or start one. It takes a lot of positive energy to get a band out there - we definitely need your help!
Where can I get your CDs and merch? Are you on iTunes?
At the ONLINE STORE. Three albums are up on iTunes and Amazon right now, including the newest EP "I Am The Hint". You can find more links to everything there. The store has CDs, shirts, posters and advanced tickets. The band runs the online store and we very much appreciate all your support to keep us going.
Do you run this website?
The band runs this website. No bots. No fake plays. We do ask that you be cool and not spam our page. Please send all booking and business requests to the contacts listed on our front page.
Will you come and play my town?
We would love to. As soon as you read this, scroll down to the little box that says Eventful. Click on DEMAND IT, and enter in your zipcode. This helps us keep track of where you want us to play. Or, you can write to our booking agent and help make it happen. The email is booking{at}thehint{dot}com.
Who does your artwork?
Tim. Visit Space_Boy.
Are you guys signed?
THE HINT is unsigned, though there is an album out in Japan on Fabtone Records. That album, "The Lights On Hope Street" came out on January 10 this year.
What do other people say about your music?
"Timeless music that can be as catchy as a single or as moody as something The Cure would release. I'm expecting big things from this band. Big things... definitely one of the most creative and hardworking bands on the Top Unsigned list."
-Tim Towner, The Daily Chorus
"The Maryland based pop new wave act could hang in the same crowd as Jimmy Eat World and Weezer."
-Dean, Kings of A&R
