About Jon Doe

Ian has been involved with music since the age of 8, when he picked up his first guitar. At 15, he bought a set of second-hand turntables and everything changed. Now, at 22 he has a slew of remixes under his belt and stays busy running the StirSound Netlabel as well as working on various musical projects. His productions range from techno to ambient. On his own, he writes under several guises such as Jon Doe, The Ambiguous They, and Apocalipstick. He is one half of DownTime alongside Adam Virga (aka April Vallen). There is also a project in the works with Leggo called Middle Man Revolt. Everyone else is doing it:
