Sounds Like
A unique acoustic blues/pop/funk genre all its own.
Moonshine consists of Joey Lutes (Lead Vocals / Guitar), James Mattingly (Backing Vocals / Lead Guitar), “Big Jerry” Wilson, (Backing Vocals / Bass) and "Little Jerry" Wilson (Drums)
After 12+ years of acoustic picking and strumming together, Joey and James formed Moonshine in 2004 and began playing gigs as an acoustic duo around the KC metro area. They were joined in the spring of 2005 by the father-son duo affectionately know as "The Jerry's” on bass and drums, creating an interestingly unique and soulful sound.
Moonshine performs a variety of cover tunes as well as a wide selection of its own original music; introducing a pop ballad style with distinct reggae, blues and funk influences. The band performs regularly at bars and nightclubs in the Kansas City and surrounding areas and expects to release their debut album later in 2008.
