We just wanted to let you know that our "Sounds of Love" EP is now up for pre order. We're re-releasing our EP with some new artwork and layout so make sure you guys go pick it up. This is a collection of songs that we originally put out on our own but now, thanks to Fearless, we can get it to reach more of you than we could before. If you enjoy our music, please go out and help spread the word. If you buy our EP through Smartpunk, Interpunk, or MerchNow, you will receive an autographed booklet, sticker, and poster along with your order. The EP hits all record stores on 03.04.08 and will also be available on iTunes for $3.99. Remember to tell all your friends and go out and pick yourself up a copy! Love always, Harrison, Bobby, Matt, Nick, and Andy

It's been a fast ride for Pittsburgh based band The Morning Light. In no more than a year, the band formed, started touring, and signed a record deal. With the release of their highly anticipated debut EP The Sounds of Love in March 2008, the band shows no signs of slowing their climb to celebrity.

After spending years on tour with the likes of MXPX, Reel Big Fish, and The Rocket Summer, Transition bassist Harrison Wargo realized that he would need to make music he truly loved if he was going to spend his life doing it. Harrison and fellow vocalist Bobby Garver began jamming in a friend's studio, eager to create their own distinctive sound that would be free of writing limitations and unimpeded by clichés. Their project began to take off as they recruited longtime friend and Transition bandmate Matt Colussy on guitar and back-up vocals, Nick Baxter on drums and Andrew McDonald on bass.

Now complete, The Morning Light set off across the country on a rigorous touring schedule, spending 2007 on the road and playing nearly 150 shows. They toured from coast to coast with bands All Time Low, The Cab, and Just Surrender, catching the eyes and ears of many and building solid fan bases in Baltimore, Philadelphia, Connecticut, Northern Virginia, New Jersey, and Los Angeles. Noted for their emotional, heartfelt performances, The Morning Light sports a unique dynamic. Working the keyboard, Harrison shares vocals with Bobby as Matt, Nick and Andrew produce the crucial backing tunes. The dual vocals enhance the standout quality of their music, while tambourines and handclaps give it an extra kick. The Morning Light encourages their audiences to participate, but as their performances have proved, the offer isn't even needed. As the first bars of each song fill the room, the audience screams, cheers and begins to sing along. "We just like to have fun and really get into the music," says Bobby, "and we hope the audience has a good time." As The Morning Light sang their way across the U.S., mentions of the band began to show up everywhere. Publications like Alternative Press, Outburn, AMP, and Substream featured The Morning Light, and talk of the band spread across the internet as features and reviews popped up on websites such as Absolutepunk.net, Meebo.com, TheDailychorus.com, and PureVolume.com. Nine months after their first show, the band was signed to Huntington Beach label Fearless Records.

The Morning Light is in good company, sharing the Fearless bill with smashingly successful favorites Sugarcult, Plain White T's and At the Drive-In. They join the group of fresh Fearless bands that have only recently shot to stardom, echoing the astoundingly rapid rise to celebrity that acts like Mayday Parade, Every Avenue, and good friends The Maine have experienced. "We were really excited to sign with Fearless," says Harrison. "It's the right direction for us. This is a lifelong thing, and we were ready to take the next step."

Drawing comparisons to Jack's Mannequin, Death Cab for Cutie, and The Format, The Morning Light make a conscious effort to create albums that are enjoyable to the fullest extent, songs that reach for the -more- highest marks of good vibes, and music that translates genuine and relatable personal issues into chords and melodies. "I like being honest in my writing," says Harrison. "The Sounds of Love EP is a collection of songs based around what was going on in my life and with the band during our first year." From the pure, heartfelt vocals and sweet melody of "The Love" to the pounding drums and driving lyrics of "Safe Bet," that honesty is obvious in every note and every lyric. "Our lives are separate roads," he sings on "The Love": "we pick our separate ways, but the love I found reminds me every day that I still believe in you. I still have faith. I have faith that you'll find your way and realize your mistakes. Because I can't handle another night alone." Heartbreakingly wistful, "You're Not Mine" expresses the pain, as Harrison says, "of those times when you can't have what you really want." The band "made some noise" on the angry "Books and Letters," crafted insanely catchy hooks on "Safe Bet," and wrapped up the EP by incorporating lyrics from "Safe Bet" in "The Sounds" to finish with that well-rounded, accomplished feeling that satisfies at every turn of the EP.

Destined to make a splash, The Sounds of Love is an entirely fresh spin on catchy pop that runs strong from start to finish. Make sure to get your hands on this EP
