Cheers,
Last night's show was great...but i gotta rant and i hope you guys dont mind if i do it here on your page.
As someone who has been going to the Arcade for half my life, and been involved in the local scene, i gotta say something. The turn out for this show, and the last several i have went to have been abysmal. Just down right bad. And yet i still hear people bitching and moaning that no one comes to Rochester and supports the scene...Well folks, when a band rolls into town and plays to 40 people on a weekend, chances are they wont be to keen on making it back here, no matter how great and into the show those 40 kids were last night. Yes i know it was a holiday, fact is though as i stated it wasnt just this show it has been the last several. The scene is what YOU make it, so if you like these bands and want to see them come back, get your ass to shows, buy merch and SUPPORT local bands and the scene.
And i want to give a HUGE props to the Arcade...you guys still book these shows and support the scene... i dont know for a fact, but i think its safe to say you guys LOOSE money on A LOT of shows, and the fact you are still trying to make it work and give bands a venue is just awesome...mad respect. Thanks, and i will see you , and hopefully a bigger crowd, at a lot of up coming show... stay Metal!
