Radio Talk Show & DJ
Pro Wrestling Commentator, Ring Annoucer, and TV Host
Dan "The Phan" Cowhey got his start in the multimedia world while at Cabrini College in Suburban Philadelphia. Cowhey hosted a weekly 2 hour radio program entitle "Guerilla Radio." Guerilla Radio's featured the perfect mix of alternative and loud rock music with wrestling talk. Guerilla Radio air from 2003 until 2006 on Cabrini College's official radio station, 89.1 WYBF-FM "The Burn" and on WYBF.com.
As part of WYBF's fundraising project, Cowhey organized for Philadelphia based independent wrestling company, Pro Wrestling Unplugged, to put on the first wrestling event at Cabrini College since ECW's intial TV Tapings in the 90s. Thanks to the very successful event, Cowhey was able to secure himself a spot as content provider for PWU's official website. Cowhey began to write columns for the website as well as began to produce Guerilla Radio "Shorts."
Going into his third PWU event, Cowhey was asked to fill in as commentator as the regular commentators were unavailable and Cowhey had the radio background to fill in. Cowhey would remain a fill-in throughout the summer and eventually landed himself a full-time member of the announce team working mainly with Jake Black or Nate Stein, sometimes working alongside Philadelphia Wrestling Commentating mainstays: Eric Garguilo and John House.
After landing the full-time commentary position, he and Jake Black began to work on PWU's web-based television show: "Power Surge TV." Cowhey also took on jobs as webmaster for their website and graphic designer for PWU's Logos, Posters, and DVD Covers.
During this time, Cowhey landed ring announcing and commentary positions throughout the east coast. Most notably working at World Xtreme Wrestling in Allentown, PA, which is currently run by WWE Hall of Famer Afa "The Wild Samoan" Anoi'a. Cowhey also worked at APCW in Philadelphia and APW in West Virginia.
Toward the end of PWU's run at the legendary ECW Arena, Cowhey worked closely with PWU's booker, and ECW Founder, Tod Gordon. Cowhey's tenure in PWU would end abruptly in April, 2008 when PWU briefly folded.
Cowhey worked closely with an upstart company being run by "Arena" management called "Velocity Pro." Cowhey briefly worked as commentator and TV Host of "VPro Now!"
During this time, Afa Anoi'a moved WXW to Florida and his son, Samu Anoi'a, created WXW-C4 to take WXW's place in Allentown, PA. Cowhey would go on to design WXW-C4's official website. Cowhey to the present time works as TV host and commentator for the promotion.
PWU attempted a comeback in April, 2009 where Cowhey was asked back to resume his duties as Commentator, TV Host, Webmaster, and Graphic Designer. Cowhey was also asked to take on a new "hat" and was asked to book PWU. After preparing 6 months of storylines for PWU, Cowhey took a brief sabbatical from the business. PWU subsequently had to cancel its return plans and ceased operations indefinitely.
Currently, Cowhey is still working with WXW-C4 as well as working closely with an upstart company based out of California called "Vendetta Wrestling" as webmaster.
Dan "The Phan" Cowhey is currently accepting booking requests for ring announcing and commentary positions. If you would like to book "The God Of All Media" please contact ThePhan11@aol.com

Hello,
First of all, we at NCW would like to thank you for adding us here on MySpace. I just wanted to send you a message to inform you of a few things. We have currently have set up a Facebook account. Please feel free to add us on there also. You can search for the name NC Wrestler or under the email of northeastchampionshipwrestling@gmail.com.
Secondly, in case you were not aware of this upcoming weekend, NCW is going to be running a “Bar Night” at Oh! Hara’s Pub in Gloucester City, NJ from 8 p.m. until Midnight (maybe longer depending on the crowd!). The bar is donating half of the tips and 20 % of the register. We will also be having two different types of 50/50 raffles, and a few auction items. This event is being held to help create awareness for NCW “Ballpark Bash” on August 15th, 2009, but also to help raise some money to help the cause that “Ballpark Ball” is being done for. We are trying to raise money for the Philadelphia Police Survivor’s Fund, to help those families of fallen Philadelphia police officers. We will be having guest bartenders such as “Pryme Tyme” Amy Lee, Southern Justice, and Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart on the wrestling front. We also will have some former Major League Baseball players attending as bartenders. The media is also scheduled to be there and we would like not
