"It's gritty, it's grimy and gnarly...and hell, it's just GREAT! If it's a raging good time you're itching for, this kid's got the scratch to get ya!"
-Sheena Beaston
"It uses synthesizer power to melt your brains, and then brings in a fantastic explosive synth/bass/drum triforce at all the right times. Well done, Redlight!"
-The Animal Show
"Redlight...almost too nice... >.>"
-Nashville Nights
"A tune that you will def hear @ the next T F party [Oktoberfest in Munich Germany] - Vampire Weekend “Ottoman” (Redlight Remix)"
-DJ Chrome of www.chromemusic.de/
"He did an overhaul of the aforementioned divalicious tune, and it's straight up discodancepop with super slick and slippery zooms and booms laced throughout the entire fix. Seriously, this mix leaves me salivating for more!"
-Sheena Beaston
"Check this excellent remix for Ladyhawke - Delirium, then this Jeffer one a little bit different from the original, and IF you're not convinced yet with Tim's talent, just listen to the Vampire Weekend's remix one more time. Keep composing Tim, the road which leads to success is in front of you."
-Nico of http://randomtrax.blogspot.com/
"Redlight has put out some previously outstanding remixes but this newest Kid Sister jam is good enough to have ewoks jukin all over endor's forest moon."
-Nashville Nights
"Dskotek aren’t the only remixers who’ve been making a lot of noise this year. On the East Coast, it has been all about REDLIGHT, based in New York and Boston. Recently, I’ve been obsessing over Redlight’s remixes."
-[p33]r0y of Postmusic.org
"A Robin S Remix That Doesn't Suck!...
The build is quite intriguing – there’s this sort of frenzy of mashup sounds before it the nasty synthline drops…..fun shit…..old people could seriously fuck themselves up on this one."

I'm Redlight. For the past two years I've been DJing in NYC and producing and performing dance remixes. Recently I decided I was tired of playing other peoples music and started to focus on production and DJ less. Although Djing is addicting and I still do it a lot.
My approach to remixing is to find a song that needs improvement, then improve it in a way that benefits the song / allows me to enjoy it more and dance to it. For this reason there are several songs that I would not remix just because I feel they don't need to be remixed. Cutting up a song for the sake of putting your name at the end does not benefit someone dancing. This is also why some of my remixes are very different from the original and some are pretty similar. Either way, Enjoy! Click the links on the left to download all the songs for free!
