Jesus and me! :O)

Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior, who left me the ultimate example of love and life to follow. I want the Name of Jesus glorified above all else. Pray that I will be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit as I record messages to reach out to those God has called me to minister to.
The Word of God, (The Bible), sharpens and strengthens me in my daily walk with the Lord. John 1 tells us, "In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God...The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory the glory of the one and only, made by the Father, full of grace and truth! Jesus is the WORD made flesh and He has always been and always will be! Hallelujah!
I want to thank my friend and brother in Christ, Dave of the Lion and Lamb Ministry for all of his encouragement and for urging me to come out of my comfort zones to be who God has called me to be. Thank you, Dave, I praise God for you daily!
Lion & Lamb Ministry has many videos available at www.lionandlambministry.com. Be sure and check out their website, and set up a profile there while you're at it! Here's the first video from Section 3 of the Revelation series. The 7 Trumpets, 3 Woes, & 7 Vials.

There are many others (family and friends) who have influenced my life and challenged me to press on toward the goal to win the prize of Jesus Christ! I praise and thank our God for you daily as well! Without you, I would not be where I am today. God has used you to help teach and mold me. Thank you for being obedient to Him! I love you!
Sounds Like
My mom perhaps? People get us confused on the telephone. LOL! I pretty sure it just sounds like me, since it's me talking. LOL! I love to laugh too...and tease....God has a sense of humor or He wouldn't have made me! Laughter is one of His gifts and I am so thankful for it!
Check this out!
Lion and Lamb Ministry has an awesome place for Ambassadors of Christ to meet and discuss a wide variety of topics. Come join us in the Lion's Forum! "As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend." Proverbs 27:17
Then Moses said to the LORD, "O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue." So the LORD said to him, "Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the LORD? Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say." But he said, "O my Lord, please send by the hand of whomever else You may send." So the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and He said: "Is not Aaron the Levite your brother? I know that he can speak well. And look, he is also coming out to meet you. When he sees you, he will be glad in his heart. Now you shall speak to him and put the words in his mouth. And I will be with your mouth and with his mouth, and I will teach you what you shall do. So he shall be your spokesman to the people. And he himself shall be as a mouth for you, and you shall be to him as God. And you shall take this rod in your hand, with which you shall do the signs." Exodus 4:10-17
Here's a video that is the first in a series I'll be doing on the Fruit of the Spirit.

A lot has been happening in my life recently. God has placed me in a position in my county to be a vessel to bring about some awesome things that will help the people in this community. I am amazed daily as I see the hand of God moving. Opposition comes and through prayer, I see God tear it down. Dreams and programs that looked like they didn’t have a chance in the world of coming to into existence are be established by His mighty hand! What an AWESOME God we serve!!! There is truly no one like Him!
And if having a job where I could be used to help implement His plans to help the hurting, lost, and needy weren’t enough, He brings yet another great opportunity to be used by Him, not only in my little community but to all of you! About a year and a half ago, God spoke to me about putting up a profile on MySpace (This is now my second profile. The first is under my name, Terri.) At the time, I had no idea of what that would look like, but it has always been my prayer to be used for the Lord’s purposes, so I said yes and asked the Lord to bless my little page and to use it for His glory. Little did I know how I was about to be blessed with an abundance of friends from that one little page! I am truly blessed beyond measure! The only explanation there can be for how all that has taken place in my life is that it was the hand of our loving Father at work in my life and the lives of many others making divine appointments that would bless each involved and bring about the furthering of His Kingdom. Praise be to the Great I Am, Maker of Heaven and Earth, Creator of the human heart, and the Master of bringing those hearts together to bring about relationships that bring glory to His name!
You would think that all this would be more than enough to enrich this child of the King’s life. I thought it was plenty, but….we serve a God who is MORE THAN ENOUGH! He is a God of plenty and when we think that we cannot contain anymore of His goodness and blessing, He pours on even more! Right now, I am so overwhelmed at the greatness of our God. He has now opened another door of ministry for me through The SonShine Ministry on Lion and Lamb TV. Dave, from Lion and Lamb Ministry spoke to me last year about making videos and have a website like his. As he spoke my heart raced, and I was scared to death! You’re looking at a person who hides from cameras! I hardly ever like having attention drawn to me. (We all like it once and awhile. ) I wanted no part of being on the World Wide Web! As Dave spoke to me, however, God was also speaking and I knew that what Dave was sharing with me was God’s will for me.
I tried to push the thought of making these videos aside. After all, I was helping with the youth, helping lead worship, doing a one-on-one Bible study with someone else at the time and I had my ministry here on MySpace; I was actively participating in the ministry that I knew God had called me to do, so if I didn’t feel like I had to do the video thing. Ha, ha, ha! It’s amazing how we’ll try to keep from getting too far out of our comfort zones! Things quieted down and I hardly thought about doing videos, then we took our youth to the Desperation Conference in July. Whew! God dealt with a lot of things while we were there, He gave me visions, and….and…He brought the video ministry up again!!! Here I thought it was safely tucked away where it wouldn’t rise to the service for quite some time. So, I bargained with God…I know that’s not what we SHOULD do, and I know that NONE of you ever do that! Well, I did. The Lord knew my financial situation, and He knew I didn’t have the money to invest in a webcam or any equipment, but I reminded Him of this and said, “Lord, I know you want me to do this. I will do it, but I need for you to equip me for this ministry in every way. Webcam and equipment, but I need more than anything to have your heart for this; I need your passion for this. Help me to die to myself and prepare me for the work ahead.” God showed me some other things, which I won’t go into now, but He did begin preparing me for the road ahead. He created a position for me at the Department of Human Services. The position was so new, that NO ONE knew what my job was, no one that is, but God! My first couple of months was spent reading a bunch of rules and regulations, (that I have yet had to use! LOL!) I was given mostly busy work, but then God started developing the job for me. I haven’t got time to go there tonight, but believe me, my job has been incredible ever since!
Anyhoo….the video ministry didn’t enter my thoughts much, since I was so busy with what all the Lord was doing in my life, then, then, Dave writes me and wants me to come up with a name so he can give me a spot on Lion and Lamb TV to upload my videos. Oh no, it was back! He asked about the webcam and I told him that I really didn’t have the money to invest in one, which I didn’t. I was out of work pretty much most of last year and every time I thought I would have some extra money, something would break down or someone else needed money a lot more than I did. Well, Dave under the direction of God, didn’t take that for an excuse! LOL! He tells me he is going to be sending me one of his old webcams and the next thing I knew, I was recording an audio to introduce The SonShine Ministry so that Dave could create a video from that.
At the beginning of this bio, I shared the story of when God was calling Moses to go to Egypt to speak to the pharaoh and tell him to let God’s people go. The reason I share this, is because I think I can now relate to some of how Moses must have felt. I know that I am not eloquent in speech; I’m much more comfortable behind a keyboard, where no one can hear my physical voice nor see my appearance. It feels a lot safer here, but I have prayed that God take me out of my comfort zones that He would help me to get out of the boat and walk on the water. God has answered my prayer and by reading this account of Moses I have learned that if God ever called me to do something, I would do it no matter how inadequate I felt, because I didn’t want God’s anger to kindle against me. More than anything, I want to see God glorified in my life and the lives of others so while I want others to speak into my life, it is my desire to hear God’s voice myself and be used in any way that He can use me to reach those who are perishing and to encourage others to walk in a manner worthy of our Lord. His grace is truly sufficient, and His power is revealed in our weaknesses.
God has continued to pour out even more of His mercy and grace through each of my friends. Many have sent me letters and comments of encouragement. Some have opened my eyes to the need for such ministries as the SonShine Ministry as they have shared that they are home-bound and cannot leave their homes to fellowship with other Christians. Those letters have touched my heart so much, because I know that all near and dear to God’s heart and are among the many reasons that God has called me to this ministry.
One email I received was from a precious sister who shared this video with me:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d61LamkXfwk
While I was watching this video, God spoke to me and said, have I not said I would give you the nations and have you not asked for them? See, I give you the nations! Go and proclaim my Word!" Then this verse was brought to my memory:
Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations as Your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth as Your possession. Psalm 2:8
Once again, I was overwhelmed with His presence, His goodness, His majesty. What a mighty God. Ask, I will give the nations to you! How many times I had prayed this prayer. Father, give us the nations! Let us reach the lost of this world for you! All of the times I had prayed this prayer came flooding back to me. God, God had heard my prayer and now, He was answering. The thing I was so frightened of, I now saw as the tool that God was going to use to answer my prayer. He hasn’t whisked me across the nations in a jet or bus, He is going to use the Internet to take me to them. I don’t know all who will be reached by The SonShine Ministry, Lion and Lamb and the other ministries making their web home there and on other websites throughout the Internet, but God knows and that is all that matters. He can take those who are but a worm such as I and uses them to bring Him glory and touch lives.
If God can use me, He can use you my friend! With God all things are possible! Do you believe that? I pray that you do, because it is true! God is all sufficient and has equipped us to carry out all He has planned for us. He works all things for our good! Give Him praise and ask Him to take you out of your comfort zones. There’s nothing like walking on water with the figure of Jesus before you beckoning you to come and follow Him. The look of joy on His face is well worth any risk and one day, we will hear Him say, “Well done good and faithful servant, enter into my joy!” What a day that will be. Go now, walk in the light of the Son today. Walk so closely that you reflect His light and glory where ever you may go!
Heavenly Father,
Oh how great you are! Your goodness overwhelms me, and I stand amazed at your mercy and your grace. Lord, you said to ask, and you would give us the nations. Father, I know that is the cry of not only my heart but of many who will read this, so we do ask for the nations, Father so that your name would be glorified! Open the eyes of the blind and soften the hearts of the hard hearted that they may see and receive you as their Lord and King. We thank you that you hear our cry and we thank you that you have already answered. Bless those who seek to do your will and may they walk by faith and not by sight. Take each of us out of our comfort zones to reach those you have placed in our path. May your will be done on earth we ask, Father, as it is in Heaven. In Jesus precious name, I pray. Amen.
I sent an angel to watch over you last night, but it came back. I asked,"Why?"... The angel said: "Angels don't watch over Angels!." Twenty Angels are IN Your World. Ten of them are sleeping. Nine are playing. One is reading this comment . . . Send this to ten friends, including me. As SOON As You Get Five Replies, Someone You Love will quietly surprise You!!! I'm just gonna sit here and wait for you to surprise me...
MyHotCommentsSonShine Ministry, when God SEEMS DISTANT from US, that is NOT the time to starting trusting in "OUR" FEELINGS as the BAROMETER of His LOVE towards us (recite/meditate on John 3:16). Instead, we should REVIEW ALL that God has GRACIOUSLY done for us in times past/or our recent past, AND ALSO, bring back to rememberance what He has said to us in and through His Word....and let that be the standard by which "We" (as Christians) base our UNDERSTANDING of His UNCONDITIONAL LOVE for US on, NOT OUR FEELINGS! Amen?
The Bible says "HOW LONG will You forget me, O Lord? Forever? How long will You hide Your face from me? How long must I lay up cares within me and have sorrow in my heart day after day? How long shall my enemy exalt himself over me? But I have trusted, leaned on, and been confident in Your mercy and loving-kindness; my heart shall rejoice and be in high spirits in Your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, because He has dealt bountifully with me". (Psa.13:1,2,5,6 Amp.) Hmmmm?
Num 6:22 And YHWH spoke to Mosheh, saying, Num 6:23 “Speak to Aharon and his sons, saying, ‘This is how you bless the children of Yisraĕl. Say to them: Num 6:24 YHWH bless you and guard you; Num 6:25 YHWH make His face shine upon you, and show favour to you; Num 6:26 YHWH lift up His face upon you, and give you peace.” Num 6:27 “Thus they shall put My Name on the children of Yisraĕl, and I Myself shall bless them.”
Shalom my friend! I am honored by your friendship. If ever you would need me to pray with you about anything, please don't hesitate to ask me.
FOR THOSE THAT ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH THIS MOVIE, HERE IS A LINK TO READ UP ON IT. I HAVE NOT SEEN THIS MOVIE, BUT SINCE I LEARNED IT IS A CHRISTIAN MOVIE, I AIM TO WATCH IT NOW.
MyHotCommentsSonShine Ministry, you know what? It is so very, very EASY to give God the PRAISE that He is due (and then some), when He responds SWIFTLY and FAVORABLY to our PRAYERS and SUPPLICATIONS; the "UNSPEAKABLE JOY" that we experience due to the "Answered Prayer"...................that if JOY was a Blanket, and we were Cold, that we could wrap ourslves up in "IT" and be Warm! Our FAITH then increases EXPONENTIALLY and we experience the very PRESENCE of God in our life............................Selah!
Now here is the CHALLENGE: Waiting on God! Because (more often than NOT), God's "Perfect Timing" is very, very SELDOM "Our Perfect Timing", Amen? God the Father USUALLY has us (His children) developing AND excercising our FAITH, PATIENCE, TRUST, and our LONGSUFFERING, Amen somebody? So Saints of God, (my Brothers & Sisters), "Wait I say on God, and be of GOOD courage"!
The Bible says "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life". (Prov.13:12 AMP.) And what kind of tree of life "COULD" that be? (I'm glad you asked!) Again, the Bible says "And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity"] Psa.1:3 AMP. Hmmmm?
Sorry I haven’t been able to write you more but I’ve been busy and my marriage is still on with Terry King. He will be moving here in a couple of months. With the Swine Flu going around I don’t like the idea of traveling to San Antonio where the school District has been closed. I found out that the flu started up from Southern Cal and San Antonio. Yuck. I hope it will be better by next week. I may end up wearing a mask at the airport to be safer and pleading the blood of Jesus that it won’t effect me or Terry while I’m there. I will be meeting his son Chris and his brother and a few other close friends. He wants to move here sooner but his son is expecting his first child by the end of June. He and I will have a Justice marry us when he gets here and then arrange a larger church wedding. I may even play the background music and have Cindi, my worship assistant help record me playing.
I’m sending you this beautiful rose for such a beautiful person as yourself. Know that the Lord is good and He loves you.
MyHotCommentsMy sister, who ever came up with phrase "Patience is a Virtue", MUST have been inspired by God. Because even though that phrase is NOT found in the Bible (ie it is NOT Word), it is, however, most often times true. In many instances, "WAITING" is NOT the easiest thing to do......."ACTING IS"! There are a variety of passages of scripture that tell US "Not to get weary in well doing"; "Be ANXIOUS for nothing"; You have NEED of Patience"; "Let Patience have her perfect work" etc. etc. etc. Because the STARK REALITY is, "God's Timing" is SELDOM ever "Our Timing". (Amen somebody!) And WE (as Believers/Christians) have the INNATE tendency to become "IMPATIENT" when OUR ISSUES take LONGER to subside than WE WOULD LIKE THEM TO.......yet our strength (OUR REAL STRENGTH) comes from "WAITING ON GOD"!
The Bible says "My soul, wait only upon God and silently submit to Him; for my hope and expectation are from Him. He only is my Rock and my Salvation; He is my Defense and my Fortress, I shall not be moved. With God rests my salvation and my glory; He is my Rock of unyielding strength and impenetrable hardness, and my refuge is in God! Trust in, lean on, rely on, and have confidence in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is a refuge for us (a fortress and a high tower). Selah [pause, and calmly think of that"]! (Psa.62:5-8 AMP.)
