Dance, electronic music, going to clubs/raves, chillin' with friends, cuddling, sewing cute rave outfits and generally just being crafty.
Music player is back, though admittedly not as awesome as it used to be since I can't figure out how to get the songs to move up and down the playlist. If I had a brain I'd just glue them all together, upload it as one big chunk and do it that way, but I haven't moved the necessary program to the laptop yet and besides, then I'd be forced to er...I'll leave it at that.
And now for the Occasional Whoring Announcement:
Music
First off, I will forever and always love...
AFI, Scissor Sisters, Blaqk Audio, My Chem, Elton John, Garbage, and a couple others.
For the most part these days I am far more into electronic dance music such as...
Trash Yourself, Ultraviolet Sound, Hyper Crush, Electric Valentine, Andain, Christopher Lawrence, Joop, Thievery Corporation, Steve Aoki, Pendulum, LAZRtag, Yelle, Adultnapper, Treasure Fingers, Gabriel & Dresden, The Toxic Avenger, The Chain Gang Of 1974, Deadmau5, Falko Niestolik, Breathe Carolina, Vandalism, Ferry Corsten, Brew Ramson, Kill The Noise, Etc.
It used to say that I still harbour a rock side through here but I find it melting away more and more. These days mostly I'm just down with Siouxsie and The Banshees and The Cure.
I also have a very anachronistic love of New Wave and Hi-NRG such as Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, Erasure, New Order, Soft Cell, Dead Or Alive, Sylvester, and Giorgio Moroder.
And here is where I send props to my favsie DJ boys because they all kick ass, are way fun to deal with and generally have been found to have a good little bit of skill. Check 'em, yo!
DJ Steve Moller, Ghosh, John Bourke, Heidi Cannon (even though she's technically not a DJ or a boy) and DJ Bedz!
Movies
If it involves a drag queen, I probably love it. The Bird Cage, Too Wong Foo, Priscilla Queen Of The Desert, Kinky Boots, etc. I love all Monty Python and Mel Brooks stuff for comedy and in the random category, Garden State, The Blues Brothers, Wristcutters, Stardust, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and a bunch of stuff I don't remember. I don't particularly like classic "horror" type movies that actually scare the shit out of me, but I love bloody B horror movies.
Television
I finally do own a TV again, but I don;t use it all that often and still watch all my stuff online. Said stuff includes NCIS, So You Think You Can Dance, Futurama, Northern Exposure, and a whole lot of random documentary stuff.
Books
I mostly read a lot of music books. The All Music Guide to Electronica saves my ass on a regular basis, even though I don't actually own it and have it sort of perpetually checked out from the Denver Public Library. "Last Night A DJ Saved My Life" by Frank Broughton and Bill Brewster is also a fantastic book and for once includes an actual section on Disco which is a major rarity. The Ambient Century: From Mahler to Trance-The Evolution Of Sound In The Electronic Age by Mark Prendergast is also a fantastic book that I have read several times over. Otherwise I'm a big fan of God Save The Queen, Nightfisher, Persepolis, Deathnote, and anything by Brad Warner or Christopher Moore.

Hai, I'm Andrea. I'm a geek of the music variety. I'm a bit of a princess. I enjoy hanging out at clubs and raves and attempting to dance which is occasionally a hit-or-miss affair depending on my level of inebriation. Actually I enjoy most forms of dance but I'm most skilled in ballet and modern. I love my friends. I am very much in love with my amazing boyfriend too. Overall, I'm just a fairly normal girl really, only my life has a tendency to be a little surreal at times.
Who I'd like to meet: To be honest, I've realised I don't care too much about meeting famous musicians or celebrities. Yeah it's cool to say you've met them, but they're just regular people. Really, I just love meeting new, interesting people of all sorts from kandi ravers to investment bankers and everybody in between. If you're cool with me then I'm cool with you.
You best be coming to our Cervantes show on the 2nd of July or I'll make you listen to "the lost texas ranger" by Chuck Norris over and over and over...

Schweet! That's not far at all from where I usually hang out. Haha yes of course I'm legal now. Thursdays are good for clubs :) I've only been to tracks so far. Nik was mad that he didn't get to take me for the first time so I went with him not too long ago.
Good! I miss you like crazy. Seriously? I'm down around those parts every Sunday night. Usually I'm either in Aurora or downtown nowadays. We'll have to do something over spring break. :D
