Dr. Thomas Millioto is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at CUNY Hunter where he teaches individual classical guitar lessons as well as two group guitar classes. Thomas is a graduate of SUNY Stony Brook where he received his doctorate in classical guitar performance while also studying performance on the lute and the 19th century classical guitar. His students have gained acceptance into college level music programs at Reed College, CUNY Hunter and the Brooklyn College Conservatory of Music as well as into youth music programs at Mannes, the Manhattan School of Music and Juilliard. Thomas is also active as a recording engineer and studio musician. Currently, you can hear his electric guitar playing on Emeril Lagasse’s new show, Emeril Green as well as on the national TV radio commercials for the clothing franchise Plato’s Closet.
