ThreeHives: a collective of musicians aiming to create art in sound.
In its beginnings, ThreeHives, was simply a studio project. Set up by Miles Butterfield as a way to create music much different than the classical and jazz music of his upbringing. Bringing in musicians Adam Redmond, Justin Pearson, Ian Bigsby, Tim Gay, and David Hull; the group blends the concepts of jazz fusion, ambient, industrial and progressive rock to create a sound very much their own.
We are planning on performing the music of Frame I as a live outfit featuring Adam, Justin, Dave, and Miles. Please check back for more information on live performance.
