Started as a one-off cover band for a Halloween party that never happened, Thunderpants continued to play together and got to gigging in the following January of 2003. Thunderpants went on hiatus in the following September, due to Garrett's departure for a MA at Oxford. There were sporadic shows when Garrett was in the country. Thunderpants is just starting to crank things up again- We've been writing a lot of new material and began regular gigging in October 2005. Thunderpants has played shows in Lafayette, Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Thunderpants recorded one full length album in it's previous incarnation, "I'd be dead if it weren't for sandwiches", and recently recorded a demo of new material. Take a listen!
