About Tungsten Coil

"A Musical Revolution"

The music of Tungsten Coil is a modern mix of electronic/industrial music combined with the more dynamic and emotional sounds of a traditional driving rock band. An eclectic sound created to feed those listeners craving something different.

The members of Tungsten Coil are as hard working as the element itself, applying their energy toward their attention to detail within the music, the show, and their promotional efforts. Their fast-building buzz in Austin helped land them their first SXSW showcase only 5 months after their first show. The band also earned 4th place in the "Best Industrial Band" catagory at the 2007 Austin Music Awards with votes due just 3 months after their debut. Tungsten Coil won first place in 2008. Their song "Time" has been getting frequent radio play while "Prey To Me" has been featured on numerous compilations.
