關於我： When I was growing up, I was constantly faced with the comment, "Girls don't do that", and although I can't really say things have changed, I can say I am in good company so for that reason I consider myself a pioneer. In the early 80s, I was one of the first women B-Girls (breakdancers) and in the early 90s, I was one of very few women to surf. Then in 1993 when I graduated from UH with a fashion merchandising degree, I designed the 1st women's boardshort and started the first real women's surf label (that actually made water wear that women could surf in) The guys at the top of the ladder in the male dominated surf industry laughed at me and said women's surfing wasn't marketable, but now they try to lay claims to being the first to do what I did.
I still dance and am actively involved in the Hip Hop community. I still surf Pipeline everyday in hopes of riding a huge wave from the second reef and sell my clothing label Us Girls in exclusive Urban boutiques. Peace.

A great way to start the weekend. After we are done with our set of original rock with a taste of blues, jazz and R&B, you can have them fire up the Karaoke machine. Hope you can make it. Peace!
