I started my musical ambitions in Edmonton, AB, playing bass, guitar and keyboards in two very well known bands: OFFICE and VOICE before starting my own project called The SAVAGE NURSES with members of VOICE and another well known band: DARKROOM. Seeking something new, my drummer Sherri Leigh and I were asked to relocate to Vancouver to become the rhythm section for then unknown SARAH McLACHLAN. I wrote and performed on SARAH's debut album TOUCH on NETTWERK RECORDS in 1988. After two years of touring and production of SARAH's second album, things did not work out as planned and I left to pursue other desires. At this time I also played for popular Vancouver band BOLERO LAVA. Right now I'm working on more Uberbelly material and am also playing bass in awesome Vancouver rock band SOL 3. UBERBELLY is a project that has been 5 years in the making, culminating in an eclectic mix of pop and rock music that is constantly evolving. Enjoy!

HAPPY BELATED ACROSS THE UNIVERSE DAY!!! From the ROBOTS FROM MARS
Music from Earth has been deliberately launched into space by humankind. Other than attaching a disc to a spacecraft or randomly broadcasting TV and radio signals, the Third Planet has never before attempted to share it’s musical culture with the Heavens. A Beatles song has been beamed out into the galaxy. NASA broadcasted the song, "Across the Universe", through the transmitters of its deep space communications network on the 40th anniversary of the songs recording at London's Abbey Road studios. February 4th also commemorated the space agency's 50th anniversary. The music was converted into digital data and sent on a 431 light year-journey towards Polaris, the North Star. The broadcast began its galactic crossing at 7 p.m. EST/February 4th 2008. Martian Side note: It might take awhile for the flower children around Polaris to respond to this broadcast. They prefer space polkas and hate all forms of technology.
hey, sorry that we left last nite early... one of the guys that was there just rubbed me the wrong way he tried to grabbed me and go dance on the floor and i didnt want go but he kept on insisting... then later on i was taping u guys and the same guy tried to take my digital camera... so i hope u are not offended that i left early... i didnt want to get physical w/ anyone so i left... later jamie
