Visual Stimulus began in San Diego in 2006, bringing artists together for one great show. We are now rapidly growing and have begun to include artists from both San Diego and Los Angeles. Our future goals at Visual Stimulus include bringing this incredible art experience to many communities across the country, inspiring others to love and save the environment around them. We are interested in promoting visual artists (painters, photographers, jewelry makers, sculptors, etc), musical artists (spoken word, rap artists, singers, bands, etc), and performing artists (dancers of all styles, solo dancers, groups, special talents, etc).
Our show is all ages, so the family can come and view the various forms of arts as well! Our next VISUAL STIMULUS show will be held in December, 6th 2008 and will be on a large stage here in San Diego, at The Academy of Performing Arts (www.apastudios.com) If you are interested in participating in this show or attending, please e-mail us to either us at visualstimulusevents@gmail.com and get on our mailing list or find out how to audition.
We look forward to hearing from more aspiring Southern California talent!

Visual Stimulus Events Art, Dance & Music Events!'s Friend Space (Top 37)
Visual Stimulus Events Art, Dance & Music Events! has 458 friends.
Failure is the best part of success. They are like yin and yang; you can’t have one without the other. So learn to celebrate your failures. Truly successful people even say they are successful because they have failed more than anyone they know. They keep trying and each time it doesn’t work, it’s just a learning experience. So, go out there, Fail, Learn, Succeed. Fail, Learn, Succeed. Say it with me now, Fail. Learn.. Succeed!!!
Put it this way, you CANNOT get hung up on when something doesn’t go your way. If you stay fixated on the failure, then you cut off the other two steps: Learn and Succeed. Fight the temptation to dwell on the failure with EVERYTHING you’ve got. Get excited about failing! Then Learn, Then Succeed!!!
Ever since you added us, we haven't said anything to one another. So lets at least try to talk to see if we can help eachother. I'm D.O and my bro is Jizzle. We are looking to put "Cant Miss Me" on the radio. All we need you to do is call the radio station one time and request it. Now what can we do for you? A favor for a favor! That's how true friends work... Call this Radio Station (818)520-1059 and request "Can't Miss Me" by Rekkless! Come party with us too.
The trick is to stay focused on what you want to happen and let go of what you do not... cuz if you keep seeing things as they are, convincing yourself that you "have to" because that's reality, then it will always be your reality. want to change? it's as simple as changing the who, what, how, why and when of what you look at and FOCUS on... DAILY :)

Look at life from the perspective of what you have NOW, what you are grateful for NOW. If you continue to look into the PAST as to what you have lost, when you open your PRESENT, you will not like what you get. However, by focusing firmly on where you are directing your FUTURE by thinking on those things which are good and pure and what you do want to happen, as you unfold your PRESENT, you will find the gift that you know you really want. And, it really is that simple. As a wise person once said: If you believe you can't, you're rightif yet if you believe you CAN, you're right. What do you believe? :)

Are you a glass half empty or glass half full type of person?
When life presents you with “experiences”, do you see them as problems that you can do nothing about or moves in a game and your job is to find the solution so you can “win the game?”
Have you failed in life or merely learned ways how not to do something on your way to achieving the life you know you deserve?
Do you live in a hostile world or a world that’s beautiful and full of possibilities?
Are you a know-it-all adult that no one can tell anything to, the world sucks and that’s just the way it is, or do you have child-like faith and can see things like children see them?
This week, let the kid in you back out. Laugh more…Appreciate more…Be thankful more…Help more…BE MORE…You were meant to be abundant, so go out there and start your treasure hunt :-)
Hey I have $10 tix to the Laugh Factory Thursday, club Halo Friday with open bar and burlesque performances, and Kress Saturday. Wanna come out to any of those? Jess

Your mind is like a garden and your thoughts are like grass, beautiful smelling flowers and weeds… If you want grass to grow, you need to “plant it,” water it and take care of it. If you want beautiful smelling flowers, you need to plant “beautiful smelling flowers,” water them and take care of them. Whatever you want in your garden, you need to plant it, water it, take care of it. Now, sometimes your garden will have weeds and you need to pull them out. The thing about weeds… they grow automatically, rather you plan them or not. What are you planting?
