Il combo nasce nel novembre 2007 ad opera del chitarrista/cantante Marco Squillino e della cantante Erika Martin ,inizialmente come semplice side project del primo. I tratti della band cominciano poi a delinearsi con l'aggiunta alla line-up del bassista, Mattia Squillino, già compagno in un progetto precedente. Musicalmente parlando, le sonorità più presenti, nonostante si attinga veramente da ogni cosa, rimangono quelle Doom, Death, Gothic, Black a cui casualmente si unisce una vena progressiva. Dopo mesi di composizione , Marco Squillino decide di chiamare un caro amico chitarrista, nonchè compagno di altri progetti: Marco Carbotti. Il Fato ha poi cambiato molte cose in seguito dando inizio ad una lunga catena di cambi di line up (intorno al settembre del 2008 Erika Martin lascia la band ) . Dopo mesi passati a cercare un valido batterista, finalmente la line up è al completo (dicembre 2008) con il polistrumentista Antonio Leggieri (The Delusion, DegenerArt )! Verso Marzo (2009) Paolo Castronuovo si aggiunge alla band in seguito all'abbandono di Mattia Squillino e a giugno(2009) la line up viene completamente definita grazie al tastierista Luca Zecca ( Nebula , DegenerArt ) e all'ingresso del nuovo bassista Vito Surgo( ex Arkhamian , Nebula , Rebirth )! Dopo 3 mesi di lavoro , il debut album "A Short lived hope" viene completato il 5 settembre 2009. .. .. ....ENGLISH.... The band was formed in November 2007 by Marco Squillino (Guitar/Vocals) and Erika Martin (Vocals), initially as a minor side-project of the former. The Line-up then took further shape when bass player Mattia Squillino, previously involved in another of Marco’s projects, joined the duo. After some months spent writing, Marco Squillino decided to call on an old friend of his to join the band, whom he had previously played guitar with in other bands: Marco Carbotti. Subsequently fate changed many things by beginning a series of line-up changes (Starting from September 2008 with Erika Martin's abandonment ). After spending months looking for a valued drummer, the formation was eventually completed by multi-instrumentalist Antonio Leggieri (december 2008) on drums. around March 2009 Mattia was first replaced by Paolo Castronuovo, then by Vito Surgo, who along with keyboardist Luca Zecca completed definitely the line-up in June 2009. Although the band is inspired by basically every kind of music, the main influences are Doom, Death Metal, Gothic Metal, Black Metal, occasionally enriched by a Progressive flavour.
