Wesker is a four-piece alternative rock outfit hailing from Youngstown, Ohio. Their sound
boasts driving rhythms and addictive hooks which capture the listeners’’ attention as well
as their emotions. Intoxicating verses and luscious guitar layers that pave the way to
triumphant choruses have become the bands signature sound and style.
A staple in the Youngstown music scene since 2004, Wesker has amassed a large
following both locally and regionally through the release of two EPs, a full-length album
and appearances on several nationally distributed compilation albums. Throughout the
tenure of their career the band has performed hundreds of shows, sharing the stage
with many national artists including Punchline (Fueled By Ramen), Lock & Key (Deep Elm),
Hey Mike! (Takeover) and The Berlin Project (Orange Peel).
Wesker has garnered much attention in recent months with airplay on local heavyweight
rock station CD93.3’s “Homegrown Show”. The band is currently in the recording studio
producing their long-anticipated follow up.
