WOODSTOK NATION is a 6 piece country rock band based in Seaford, Delaware...The band performs the original music of Mark "Woodstok" Stewart as well as the best of modern country, southern rock and classic rock. Mark (Woodstok), started the band in the spring of 2009 to bring his original music from his latest two cds "Splitting Image" and "Reaching Out" into a band setting with seasoned musicians who share his vision. Woodstok Nation currently plays in the Maryland & Delaware resort areas and are looking into expanding their fan-base to other states as well... Woodstok Nation is being promoted by Diamond Castle Promotions (based in California) and have been featured several times in the Ocean City,Maryland entertainment paper "The Coconut Times"..The band is currently recieving airplay on 5 internet radio stations (see blog entry).
The band lineup consists of Mark "Woodstok " Stewart - Lead vocals & Rhythm guitar, Judith Carter - Back up vocals, JD Bradshaw - Lead & Slide guitar, Harry Evans - Pedal Steel guitar, Kenneth Kunie - Percussion, Rusty Dashiells - Bass guitar. Woodstok Nation is Delmarva's Only Country Rock Band blending country and rock styles seamlessly with a style that’s all their own.
Mark also performs acoustic shows with Judith (Woodstok & Judy) in the Delmarva area. Hey...great to hear from you and glad things are good. Things are good with us as well. Gettin' ready to head back to Florida. So excited about all that. Yeah Florida is alot closer than California is...LOL! You n' JD should try and come down and hang out with us. It'd be nice to see you. Not sure when we'll be back that far East again. If the deal is right you never know, but we're particular on what we take on out of the local area. ;->
