About me:
My name is Shaun Meilak, I'm 24 years old, I was born in Melbourne, Australia. I left Australia at the age of 5 to go live in Malta (Malta is a tiny island in the middle of the Mediterrean sea, its beneath Sicily to be exact)
I was raised most of my life in Malta, in a village called Nadur. I just simply look up to summer in Malta, for me its just paradise. Great times, great memories, either at the beach, or at night clubbin.
I like going out to bars, nightclubs, beaches, festivals, concerts ....
I seriously can't live without music. I enjoy all kinds of styles of music, it can be rock, hip hop, ambient, dance music. The past few years I been listening more to electronic music, such as progressive house, trance, techno, drum n' bass, jungle ... I try always to play music that fit the right mood i'm in at the certain moment.
I totally like going to clubs especially when big dj's are playin on the decks. When I have a great time I always have to stay till the dj spins that very last song to close the night.
21st December 2005 - 19th June 2008 I lived in Sydney, Australia. I learned a lot doing things starting from scratch, trying to adapt with the everyday lifestyle, the aussie language, new friends, new job, going out to new places. But I learned so much being in Australia. That you gotta sacrifice a lot of stuff to accomplish something.

Now I'm back in Malta, relaxing in the beautiful Maltese summer, trying to find a decent job. Maybe after a few months decide if I should stay in Malta or Australia. Time will tell.
Who I'd like to meet:
~ James Zabiela - My favourite DJ, his style totally gave me a great new perspective to the music world. Seen him play once, but never gotten to meet him in person.
~ Sasha - This DJ is amazing, once I hear his mixes and his cds, just takes me to another place, totally one dj words can't describe how talented he is. Seen him play once, but never gotten to meet him in person.
~ Oh yeah I can't forget Paris Hilton & Nicole Richie, I would love to hang out with them for at least 1 night. Especially hearin them say "Thats Hot !"
~ Any huge 80s icon that was in the music scene, movie scene, and tv show scene.
~ Any big time pro wrestlers in the states or japan.
~ Any huge DJ, that would take his time to speak with for few minutes, about the magical world of dance music.

I have the best news! :-D I finally bought a house (about 3 weeks ago)!!! It’s just a few streets away from where Chris lives, on a nice quiet cul-de-sac. I love everything about it! It has a salt water pool, ducted air conditioning, 3 bedrooms with built in wardrobes in all three, a nice pergola, and the garage has been converted into a family room so it’s like having two lounge rooms… I think one can be the TV room and the other can be the Playstation room lol. And most importantly, it has a nice kitchen (my favorite room). The move in date is on the 6th of March so we’ll be having a house warming pool party pretty soon, I wish you were here to see it and have a swim in the pool! It’ll be especially good in this weather, it’s unbearably hot at the moment. I’ll email you photos of it so you can see.

I haven’t spoken to you in a while so this will probably be a really long message! I just hardly ever come online anymore. My myspace is in real need of an update, I haven’t changed it in years. Anyway, how was your Christmas and New Year? Get any cool presents? Mine was great! I ate heaps of yummy food and had lots of fun with family and friends. Shain got me heaps of playstation 3 games that I wanted like the new Mortal Kombat vs. DC… its got Batman, Wonder woman, etc. Hey remember when I came to Malta and one of your friends (forgot the name, maybe Joey or Joseph or something) was being really funny and he kept saying “BATMANNNNN!!!” “SPIDERMANNNNNN” “SUPERMANNNNNN” and I couldn’t stop laughing??? Remember that? Well now whenever I play the new Mortal Kombat I’m reminded of that… if I’m playing as Batman for example, and I win I go to Shain “BATMANNNNNNNNNNN wins!!!” the way your friend was saying it hahaha. Good times. Oh and I also got Sing Star!!! I really LOVE that game! No one can beat me on that, lol. Also got some clothes, money, chocolate, the usual kind of presents.
Hey you’d be so proud of me, mum told me how to make Qargħa Mimli and I did it perfect! It tastes exactly like my mums! I’ve made it a couple of times now and Shain loves it… he asked the other day “Can you make Harrah Ninay?” LMAO. I’ve taught him some of the words I know (not that I know many) in Maltese and he remembers them! Its so funny. Sometimes out of nowhere he’ll say some random Maltese word or start counting in Maltese, I taught him how to say the numbers 1-5 yesterday and I’ll teach him the rest another day. My dad thinks its hillarious.
So I hear you’re working and living in Malta now, how’s that going? I’m still on holidays from work, I have another 2 weeks left. It’s great being a teacher, we get so much time off!!! We need it though, I kinda see it like stress leave haha.
