I am influenced by everything around me, I can't put famous artist around me first cause that is not who and what I see everyday. So I have to say that my influences come from the streets of Chicago. Than I can say my influences come from 2pac, B.I.G, Twista, Jay Z, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Kanye West, Eminem, Big Daddy Kane, KRS-One, Nas, Rakim and many others.
YOUNG CHI was introduced to the Hip-Hop world by his cousin Doza (Ondrea Sykes) who was the first and only female rapper of a well known Chicago group called Soldiers at War. Even though his music career is just getting started YOUNG CHI has obtained many talents. He writes, produces and arranges his own music which could make YOUNG CHI the world’s next triple threat. With is pretty boy image and unprecedented talent YOUNG CHI lyrical diversity has allowed him to reach commercial world and also gain credentials from the streets of the Chicago music circuit.
