INTUITIVE PASSION - ALONG WITH THE STRUGGLES OF BEING HUMAN. LIFE, DEATH, ART, TYRANNY, THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS, THE PURSUIT OF TRUTH, FEAR, DREAMS, ANXIETY, LOSS, SKEPTICISM, VICTORY, REBIRTH, HOPE, EXPERIENCE, RAGE, SUCCESS, THE BANDS THAT WE'VE MET ALONG OUR JOURNEY - AND THE BANDS WE ENJOY LISTENING TO. ALL OF THESE THINGS MAKE US WHO WE ARE, THEY GIVE US THE STRENGTH TO CONTINUE DOING WHAT WE DO. WE PRODUCE MUSICAL ART.
Yesterdays Rising are four musicians based out of Murrieta, California that write from the heart with passion. You will hear them refer to their music as art. Within this art they produce, you will find genuine words of life, learning, concern for our world, and the pursuit of happiness. Their music is natural and self written - giving you a well executed contrast of light and dark. Music just happens to be the main source they use to reveal their feelings and opinions. "It is an outlet".
They'll take you to a place where not all is right, with a dark landscape and moody atmosphere, that gives off a positive energy. This work is infected with hidden optimism that you will crave when life hits you with a sucker punch.
Yesterdays Rising is in an
intensive process to fully compose their next release.
The band has begun writing and recording new songs that will feature all new tracks. These four musicians are always writing, and reinventing themselves to deliver a truthful, honest message to their fans. They have currently already written new material and are in the process of finishing the recording. The new songs have been recorded by Aaron Edwards, and are being mixed by Beau Burchell of Saosin.
Brandon says, "We have had some changes with members but we have managed to remain the same band. We look at these changes as being for the better and what we understand here is that changes are part of our lives. They're unavoidable but in our situation - the changes have brought light and happiness into our band as well as great talent. The only thing we can do is remain positive and find solutions to reach our goals. In life, everybody goes through a state of rebirth and this is the way we view these changes we are going through." With new songs that range from classical-tinged melodrama to thunderous, triumphant rock, YR's new album will deliver an experimental, explosive, sonic exorcism. Brandon describes the new album as a major - major leap from their first full length record, 'Lightworker'. The production as well as the songs will be worlds better. The name for the next release has yet to be determined, as well as the release date.
Yesterdays Rising was born into this world in early 2003. They have toured all of the U.S., Canada, and Japan. They hope to travel to other parts of the globe. They have recorded and released 3 cds. Two of which are EP's (One self released - One on Fearless Records), and the other a LP titled "Lightworker" also released on Fearless Records.
