== Music Career ==


British-born, classically trained Victoria Horn (Lady V) is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and vocalist. As a songwriter, her "Days Go By" as performed by ''Dirty Vegas'' (a Grammy winner for Best Dance Recording and immortalized in a Mitsubishi Car commercial) vaulted her into the top of the game where she created "Not In Love," a Billboard Latin Dance Song of the Year for'' Enrique'' (featuring ''Kelis'') and the worldwide hit "Who Do You Love Now" for Riva featuring ''Dannii Minogue''. Her own inimitable voice has ignited dance floors with projects including ''Armin Van Buuren featuring Victoria Horn''. Along with ''Rodney Jerkins'' and ''TWC'', ''Victoria'' co-wrote ''Brandy's'' debut single "Right Here (Departed)" off of her 2008 released album "Human" and Keyshia Cole's forthcoming single "this is us" which was produced by Ron Fair.

== History ==


Victoria started her career in the music industry as a sought-after session singer with her talents utilized by such artists as the Spice Girls, Cher and many TV/radio adverts in both America and UK. Victoria also toured as part of the front line for 10 years with a 70’s band in the 90’s who sold over 21 million records, playing regularly to audiences of 50,000 people. Realizing that she had more to offer creatively than just providing Bvs and lead, Victoria set about honing her craft as a songwriter. After receiving interest from several publishers Victoria signed to Chrysalis Music. Armed with some cash, Victoria bought herself a pro tools/logic studio and locked herself away. Victoria has been playing the piano since the age of 3 and also plays the guitar and Bass.

Victoria's first release came in the dance world, with a track performed by ''Dirty Vegas'' called "Days Go By” It reached 1 in most Dance Charts and 26 in the UK National Chart but stateside the track flew up the charts following its use in a Mitsubishi car commercial. It stormed up the billboard, was a top 20 hit, it stayed in the charts for a massive 4 months and reached no 1 in the electronic/dance chart for 15 weeks. The song then went on to win a prestigious Grammy and Victoria a heavy radio rotation ASCAP award. Her ''Danni Minogue'' hit “who do you love now” sold worldwide more than ''Kylie'' her sisters “can’t get you out of my head” according to x factors press statements.. and her ''Enrique'' song “not in love” featuring ''Kelis''.. won billboard latin dance song of the year and was a top10 hit around the world.

Victoria has since enjoyed success writing and featuring on other Dance songs..

She has had 2 high profile ads.. the first being the ''Dirty Vegas'' track.. and the other the major 07 ad campaign for the simms game which currently has 80 million worldwide players.

The last couple of years have seen Victoria co-write with some of the biggest names in Pop, R&B, Rock and Classical. Including ''Rodney Jerkins, Ryan Tedder, JR Rotem, Evan Bogart, Danja Handz, Guy Sigsworth, Redone, Twin, Charlie Clouser'' (9 inch nails), ''Jon 5'' (Marilyn Manson), ''Balewa Muhammed from the Clutch, Matteo Saggese and John reid (Bocelli and Il divo)'' After a successful co-write with Nashville Hall of Fame writer ''Sharon Vaughn'', Victoria was invited back to Nashville to work with heavyweight writers and producers such as ''Tom Shapiro, Gary Burr, John Rich (Big and Rich), Trey Bruce, Tommy lee James, Robin Learner, Brett James, Hilary Lindsey.''

Victoria moved to Los Angeles in 07 where she joined a group of fellow songwriters and friends and the 4 named themselves “THE WRITING CAMP” (TWC for short) with fellow writers'' Evan "Kidd" Bogart'' (rhianna, sean Kingston, Britney, j lo, beyonce) DQ and Erika Nuri the team enjoyed working with some of the top producers in the industry. In September 08 she decided to step away from the camp, although the 4 remain good friends and still write together.

Victoria interest in all sides of the industry has lead her to form a successful group on facebook called the '''Songwriters Awareness Collective''', where she’s tries to share her insight on the industry and pass on any related information, including useful websites, books and the latest legal happening to protect copyrights and rates, she is also an active member of the British academy of songwriters and composers.
