About me:

In my evolution I started mixing techniques to see them flowing together. This is what I love in art, the balance that can be created between elements that do not necessarily mix or fit, but still end up in a perfect coherence. When things tend not to flow or mix it creates a form of boundaries. This is where the artist’s creativity becomes important. In the very moment of expression the adrenaline of the artist, awaking the creative proces. Any form of boundaries gives the artist exponential liberty to create an ecstatic work of art.

My paintings also depart from the 'mart up "of the typical rectangular shape of the canvas, to take away the industrial energy within it. Although I'm not entirely against industrial products, I'm well aware these products have no 'soul' they are as dead as can be. Made by machines, there is no emotion what so ever in a white canvas. Just painting on it still shines out the cleanness of the white canvas, the limits of the rectangular form, I intend to break this and give it a new life based on the idea's of Taoism that all is connected and destruction is only a way of opening gates to a new and more meaningful rebirth. -tekeningen..
