I'm Krista & I am 22 chronologically but approximately 78 on the inside. In other words, I'm an 'old soul.'
I listen to music that served as the soundtrack to our grandparents lives.
Lucille Ball & TCM are essential television viewing for me.
I am shy and quiet at first but, if you're nice to me, you'll get the same in return and you will soon find me talking incessantly about the latest book I'm reading or my recent travels and asking you random questions about your life but, you needn't fear, nothing to personal or anything.
I am very friendly and open and that is a big change that has taken place in the last few years. However, I find it nearly impossible to identify with my peers because I seem to have missed the entire 'teenage rebellion' and partying stage altogether.
The closest thing to a PARTY that I've attended was that one year one of my nephews had a birthday party at this gymnastics/play center thing and I got myself stuck in the foam pit and, it took my brother-in-law nearly five minutes to assist me in clawing my way out. I am not a drinker; not because I have good morals or anything, its just that I (swear to GOD) drink half of a margarita or something and my face turns green and I start doing that involuntary swallow one is wont to do when one is about to turn their stomach inside out. The strongest drug I've ingested would be my Zoloft and trust me, that doesn't count for anything. That isn't to say that I haven't screwed up. I most certainly have, especially recently but, I'm back on the right track for myself.
I'm also slightly sarcastic but not annoyingly so.
I procrastinate for as long as I possibly can when it comes to most things that go under the category of MUST BE COMPLETED ASAP.
I love to love and apparently, that shines through. Children adore me and the feeling is mutual.
I'll be absolutely honest, I'm a recovering bulimic and every day is still a bit of a battle from that standpoint. I'm doing my best because I, for one, do not want to be remembered for dying due to an eating disorder. I deserve better than that. I'm eating healthily, exercising regularly but, not to exhaustion, and when I get bad feelings, I talk about them and let them be known. I'm open about this issue so, if any of my friends have questions or need advice on where to seek help, don't hesitate to contact me.
I have a slight physical handicap which would be Erb's Palsy in my right arm. Due to that, I can't tie my shoes or really do my hair and some other things. If you're just dying to know exactly what that is, Google it.
I'm currently single but if the right person comes along, I feel that I'm ready to commit to a relationship. If you're looking for a quick lay, you've come to the wrong place. Been there, done that once and it isn't for me, thank you.
I'm terribly old fashioned when it comes to manners and what have you. I respect those who deserve my respect and that is everyone until I'm shown otherwise. I'm a girl that parents love and, I am not an ass kisser. I'm genuinely nice and polite, I promise. :)
I have a blog, Sunny Side Up! that I fill with pretty things that catch my eye, movie clips, and anything else that strikes my fancy. Not surprisingly, mostly on the vintage side of things. If you've been led to this page through said blog and wish to friend me, please let me know when you send a friend request.
If all of us acted in unison as I act individually there would be no wars and no poverty. I have made myself personally responsible for the fate of every human being who has come my way.

Hi you!! The best time to catch me online? Well it varies really, all depending on what I'm up to from day to day as I'm not on any set schedule. I'm sure we'll bump into one another, I tend to keep odd hours. I miss your words so much as well and love you too!!!
Haha. I have no idea, not for too long unfortunately because I have school and everything else and I can't have people hanging around my dad's house because he's paranoid so I'd have to stay somewhere else with you. October sounds good, I understand needing to see your hetero life mate. :p
Don't worry about it my dear, I don't expect anything. Sorry to hear you are in pain though-that's why i'm on birth control >< I can't stand periods without it.
