well basically, my city is vegas jr. it's pretty okay here, but there's a lot of vices here like legal prostitution (it's in a small county, not in a major city) and gambling. i guess that's usually what people associate with my state.
i'm from reno, nevada. it's on the west coast of the States. it's basically a really huge desert with 3 major cities. have you heard of las vegas aka "sin city"?
haha. if that's true, i'm still waiting for both of those other doors to open. but the job is only supposed to be for summer because once school starts for me, i am expecting to become a hermit either in front of my computer or in my bedroom. not too excited about my next lineup of classes.
so i've only talked about this with a girl from paris, but maybe it's just her and her friends: is there a common view on american accents where you live? because i, myself, find them quite plain.

yesterday, my mom told me a friend of hers who works at a veterinary clinic said they have a late afternoon/night shift position open. bascially all i have to do is make sure the animals have proper bedding, ate, go outside, etc. kinda like having a pet, only there's 50+. hah.
a new mall here is opening tomorrow, but there are still stores that won't be open until july (not sure if i said that already. sorry if i have).
