I live with my husband and children in Warwickshire.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone in publishing - writers, editors, agents... And, of course, anyone who's read my book. Just anyone *nice*. You know who you are ;-)
Sam, how could I forget the unicycle man and his talented assistant! Busking in Stratford sounds very thespianish. Hope the kids do well. I too love RLCG and have played it many times on my early morning walks. Everyone did such a great job including Emma's talented audio engineer Ben Stewart and fellow singer-songwriter. Missed the CD launch? I've just uploaded a short animated slideshow on Emma's myspace. Hopefully it's a lot of fun. Looking forward to your new book. Love to all
Hi Sam. I know Emma will be so excited to hear that you guys love the album and the direction she has taken with it. Every time I hear Waiting Room I'm transported back to your beautiful old piano and want so much to be standing around it with you, Terry and the kids making magical music. (In my case, listening to magical music.) I'll go out and find a star to wish upon tonight. My thoughts and love are with you all. Anna xxoo
SAM!!!! I am so excited that you like the album. I wrote track one on YOUR piano! I had such a magical time with you all. UNSPOKEN IS FINISHED!!! WOW!!!! I can't wait to read it. Ben, my boyfriend, read Blood Ties and loved it! He especially enjoyed the unusual way it was written from different perspectives. We'll be hooked on your new one as soon as it comes HA! I can't wait! Thank you Thank You Thank You and ALL MY LOVE xo
Hi Sam, we know of Emma Dean. She's doing quite well. However she is based a few states away from us. Appreciate your nice comments. Good luck with the book. Cheers MG
BRING ON UNSPOKEN!!!!!! I just finished Blood Ties last night. Along with being a very slow reader, I have only had two days off this whole year (it's been one of the craziest times of my life!) and in my spare time, when I'm not passed out on the couch, I have indulged in Blood Ties. I kept having to pinch myself and say "my aunty wrote this"...I enjoyed it more than any book I've read in a LONG time. Please send all my love to Terry, Ben, Polly and Lucy!!! xoxo
Hello Sam thanks for the add. Nice to meet you. Do I already know you? I'm from Warwickshire but haven't been there for a good while! Your book sounds great, congrats.
Can't wait for unspoken. Wish I was over there for a sneak preview of the cover. I'm also waiting for Blood Ties to be made into a major movie. It's one of those stories that play out in your mind's eye as you read along. So perfect for the big screen. So exciting. You're one gifted lady. Love, hugs and kisses to you and the clan. Anna
I miss you all loads too!!! I'm dying to see you all again. How is the new book going!? Things have been so incredibly busy here - probably the busiest three months of my life. I have only a couple of chapters to read in Blood Ties...I'm hooked. The only time I get to read it is late at night after a big day, so I can only read one chapter at a time. It's just incredible and really quite dark and spooky too. Makes the hairs on my arms stand on end sometimes!!! I LOVE IT! The best book I've read in a long time. Say hello to everyone. Sending all my love!xo ps - is this the longest comment EVER? pps - my new single will be up on myspace to download or free on friday!
Blood Ties is amazing! It's so different to any other I've read. All the way through I was trying to piece together the story, but in the end it all came together in a way that I wasn't expecting!
I loved the characters, and felt as though I really knew them!
You should be very proud, well done on writing such a lovely book.
Hope the new home is everything you and Terry dreamt of and your beautiful babies are loving every minute of life in the big city. You guys live in my heart where I store all my treasures. xxoo
