      On December 6, 09 I will be running along side my mother-like  and very good friend Debbie Kelly (who is a member of USPA and an avid skydiver) in a half marathon in Las Vegas to support and raise awareness for the Chron's and Colitis Foundation.  This is the first race either of us have ever been in.  Debbie has suffered from Chron's disease for several years.  Before doctors were even able to diagnose her, she suffered for six years with pain and suffering and wrong diagnosis.  She eventually was correctly diagnosed and had to undergo surgery to have part of her intenstines removed.  She is coping much better today and has been living life to the fullest, although she must still be careful sometimes of her disease. 

      We have made a promise to the Chron's and Colitis Foundation of America that we would raise $3900 (by Oct. 19) and that we would run in the half marathon on December 6th.  We really need your help.  If you can spare anything at all, please donate to the link posted below.  Thanks for you time and consideration and thank you in advance for your generous donation!
