A1 has been asked to front the first ever Norwegian Red Nose Day, with their brand new single "Take You Home". The song is available on itunes now (Norway), so make sure to grab yourself a copy! For those not in Norway but that want to hear the song, you can hear it on the video clip below from their first live performance of the track on xfactor in Norway last week.

Hard to believe that it’s been nearly a decade since Ben, Christian, Mark & Paul made their debut in the UK singles charts with Be the First to Believe in May 1999. Two number 1’s, four successful albums including the greatest hits, a string of worldwide hits & a Brit Award later, the boys amicably decided to go their separate ways to pursue various different solo projects.
Be the First to Believe reached a respectable no.6 followed two months later by Summertime of our Lives (5). Two further singles, double A-sided Everytime/Ready or Not & Like a Rose went to numbers 3 & 6 respectively. Although proud of being one of those rare teen pop bands who write their own songs, it was with a cover of A-HA’s number 2 hit Take on Me that a1 received their first chart topper. Same Old Brand New You followed, scoring them their second number 1 within a ten week period. Their 7th single No More reached no.6. It was followed almost a year later by Caught in the Middle, their most successful radio hit worldwide, which entered the UK charts at no.2 in Feb 2002. Their final single to date, Make it Good was released hot on the heels of their 3rd album of the same name. Since a1 disbanded late 2002, the boys have remained close & still frequently write together.
This page is dedicated to the continuing support of the loyal a1 fan base who have followed the boys throughout all of their individual ventures & will also be the official base for all future updates & developments relating to the careers of Ben Adams, Christian Ingebrigtsen, Mark Read & Paul Marazzi.

hello a1...... =) im ur fan here in philippines...others not might consider the old bands like u coz of the long tym ago have been passed.. they always thought about the new and hit ones..but if would be thinkin of it, band like u A1 cannot erase in the hearts and memories of all the fans and people that marks of ur songs.. the songs that cannot forget of all time..till to the next generation of music industry.. until now, ur songs still played on radio stations.. thanks for the reunion concert. even though ur not be here to vicit our country, its glad that u will unite again. . just a sad thought that ur disbanded and left by paul... anyways, i always remember my grade school days when i listen to your songs.. really that was 8 years ago. thnks 4 adding and goodluck guys for ur careers.. godbless and takecare.. =]
