I Like so much music that it would take forever this list everything. I try to listen to all of it with a open ear. I'm just a little lost on Rap & Hip Hop Music. That stuff kinda leaves me cold & I just can't relate to it. I grew up in the Burbs, not the Hood! Real music is played on instruments & not some pre-sampled, drum machine swill. Most the time my TV is just a box with some background noise coming out of it. I watch a lot of news programs, discovery & history channels are good too. Thank God for On-demand TV!
Books
It's sometimes hard to find time for me to read because of work & life. When I do find time I tend to go for Biography or Autobiography books. About the only fiction I like is those 50's & 60's pulp fiction books. I find them very trashy & somewhat funny!
THERE IS BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN JUST READING & UNDERSTANDING WHAT YOU HAVE JUST READ!
Heroes
When people say heroes, a lot of come to mind. People like Jesus Christ, My Father, Both grand fathers (one was a Deputy Sheriff & the other a moonshiner in his youth), Then my one of my friends that have seemed to overcome her addiction, Hospital Workers, Fire Fighters, Servicemen & women, Johnny Cash, John Lennon, Country Dick Montana & of course others. People should try to be their own heroes, cause they seem to be in short supply!
