Canadian tech/house/minimal dj + producer + promoter . . .

While tech-house + minimal is my main focus, I also dig electro, down-tempo, and eclectic "thrift store finds." The broad appeal of this unique blend results in regular invitations to play at a variety of events -- from private parties to afterhours clubs to art vernissages -- in places such as Ottawa, Toronto, France, Dublin, Amsterdam, and Berlin.

With a love for both tradition and technology, I play vinyl, and digitaly; external efx and looping add to the fun. I feel that the technical role of the dj is to explore and exploit the mix, using smooth programming and varied tranistions to create unique, spontaneous sets appropriate to the mood of the crowd.

I believe the dj's musical role is to share new sounds with new audiences . . . speaking of which, here are some of my mixes:

Back in Ottawa -- working alongside vj DO as "The Latest Artists" -- with custom lighting, live video, and guest dj's from across Canada, we co-host Tech/Tonic, building new audiences for minimal electronic music in Canada's capital city.
