aaahh records and free music -
a short introduction
We would like to introduce a quote from Richard Stallman who once said: “[…] To understand the concept, you should think of “free” as in “free speech”, not as in “free beer”". Although he was talking about free software, we would like to apply this attitude towards “free music”. So, all the songs realeased by our label are not only free in price. They carry the freedom to share, to remix and, of course, to listen to wherever, whenever and however you like.
Like many other netlabels, we would like to give you an interesting answer to the ongoing changes in the so-called music industry. But hold .. you think we dislike good ol’ cd and vinyl, let us tell you that we will offer you real records, too - records you can touch, lick or nail to your wall. The difference is that the balance between free music and expensive records will be turned upside down. So again, “free”, in this sense, implies music the artist wants to share with the world, because he/she doesn’t like to see his/her music as an inflexible or colourless product.

Am 02.10. wird sich zum konferieren nicht etwa an den obligatorischen runden Tisch gepflanzt, als vielmehr zum hysterischen abzappeln auf der Tanzfläche getroffen. Wie üblich findet nämlich auch in 2009 am Abend vor dem Tag der deutschen Einheit die Jahreshauptversammlung aller lokalen Drum and Bass-DJs statt.
Dieses Jahr, zum fünften Geburtstag, allerdings erstmals nicht in der Hechelei, sondern im Kamp. Drei Areas bieten jetzt Platz für Sage und Schreibe 18 DJs aus der Region. Somit ist dieses Jahr auch erstmals Platz für artverwandte Genres wie Jungle, Dubstep und Breaks.
Neuro Science is a collaboration with Killeralien (Gamma Audio, Subculture Music) and Phonetic System (Gamma Audio, Planet Terror). B1t Crunch3r's second Planet Terror EP also features appearances from Mouch, Dubbwune, Jay Cotton and Section 8. Expect his trademark blend of heavy dubstep beats and eerie atmospherics that made The Travelogue EP [PLANET007] such a hit.

Loo & Placido reisen aus Paris an und rocken im Kamp Als Djs verstehen die beiden sich als echte Entertainer, treten in Kostümen und Masken auf, sie mischen Versatzstücke alter und aktueller Hits zu neuen Tracks zusammen, peppen alles mit Monster-Basslinien und Killer Beats auf. Inzwischen konstruieren die beiden ihre Dj-Sets nicht nur mit klassischem Plattenauflegen, sondern bauen zunehmend auch Live-Elemente ein.
Kamp Café - Katze und Victor Worms präsentieren The School of Pop Geschmackvolles und abgeschmacktes, oft gehörtes und Unerhörtes ... Es darf getanzt werden zu Populärmusik vergangener Tage.
Ein wahres Ereignis spaßig-sportlicher sowie fetzig-musikalischer Art und Weise bietet sich in den Räumlichkeiten des Kulturkombinat Kamp e.V. Gleich mehrere Größen der internationalen Rock..n..Roll und Country-Szene spielen hier wild zu einem Rodeo Turnier auf. Am Rodeo darf jeder spontan teilnehmen. Aufsitzen, festhalten, versuchen, so lange wie möglich oben zu bleiben und Spaß haben! Wer am Rodeo Turnier teilnehmen möchte, braucht neben Mut, Kraft und Selbstvertrauen Folgendes: 1) Ein super schräges, abgefahrenes Rodeo-Outfit! 2) Einen Kampfnamen, der Eurer Konkurrenz das Fürchten lehrt. 3) Einen Musiktitel, der Eurem Rodeo-Charakter einen gebührenden Einzug in die Kampf-Arena beschert.
