Nordheim started out his musical career way back as a thirteen year old kid as he performed from stage for the first time, doing his first self composed song ever. 15 years old he started out as a drummer in a Shaddowsband called the Quinters. Later on playing base, keyboard and guitar in various settings.
Throughout his career he has had a pounding heart for country music, finding broad inspiration listening to artist`s like Jim Reeves, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks and so on..
The last six years he has been traveling around Norway with his One Man Band consept except for a short period of time when he traveled with his backing band, Dusty Rose Band from Oslo. In august 2005 they attended at Nord Hordaland Countryfestival as one of the main attractions along with Andrea Rice from Ireland.
Late 2005 he let go of Dusty Rose Band as he met up with guitarist Geir Paulsberg, and from there formed his new band Oagee Band. OAGEE BAND plays a large variety of country music from the old classics and up to todays country stars. If you want it..they`ll probably play it. Besides doing those cover songs , the band of course plays Nordheim`s own songs.
2005 he released his debut album "No Back Against The Wall", an album that has gotten conciderable airplay over large parts of the world. You`ll find his music on playlists repeatedly. One of the songs, "Words" from "No Back Against The Wall", stayed 14 weeks on ECMA TOP 100 charts. Best position ..24.
Oagee released his latest Norwegian album the 30`th of October (2006). With the exception of two songs the album contains only his own material. By his two latest albums he has proven himself to be a good songwriter and a versatile artist.
